JT put a worm clamp around it and snug it up a bit

By the way, another easy way is to have the 3 hooks facing outwards, where it won't slip off. Just food for thought.

Rather work on a Chrysler LHS any day. Basically same type of repair. You have to keep belt tight on left side of motor. Looseness only on side of tensioner. Use pieces of cardboard or clean rags to hold belt in place on left pulley of motor. Of course, top dead center #1 TDC a must before removing belt. J.T. master of PT but the best is the LHS. Big car Mopar or no car.😊

You got it! I guess that the car was in good enough shape and low enough miles to constitute the repair, not to mention the prices of new cars. A shame they wasted $$ on whomever did it first. Nice Job

I put what i thought was good parts years ago into my Pontiac. GM a/c Delco from rock. But everything said Made In China..... The replacement crankshaft sensor died 2 years after installation. The water pump, 4 years. The alternator whining from day one installation. I don't know if i got counterfeit parts, or GM has an issue, but i stopped using rock over this issue. I don't like walking, having my car towed, or having to do the job again twice.

Replaced alternator on my Monte Carlo last year. Bought replacement unit from O Riellys. Unit was a Delco Remy unit made in USA but remanned in China. Go figure!

Ive had great luck with off brand parts. Never bought a name brand part in my life. Boy u sure hate derman. Here we call it jobber parts

Usually not the shrader. Theres a rubber o ring inside the cap. THATS WHAT U GET FOR BUYING A PART TIME CRUISER. THATS THE OFFICIAL NAME.
