The nurse is talking to a patient who is prescribed to do a gum biopsy. However, the patient is anxious. The patient has visited so many times due to gum problems. Now, the doctor has suggested doing a gum biopsy. But the patient is anxious about it. The nurse is talking to the anxious patient. The nurse during the speaking roleplay clears the patient's doubts about the biopsy. The patient is concern about the pain during the gum biopsy. The nurse explains the gum area will be given a numbing injection. So the patient will not know the pain. The nurse then tries to explain the risks involved during the biopsy. As well as the precautions that the patient should take to avoid the risks after biopsy.
