OK dude i totally agree with you it's not mandatory to be in the pit, but I duno, I just have this NEED in me that has to be in the pit and I wish more people would feel it because it's so liberating and awesome and I'm sure it makes the performers give 200 percent more than if there is a crowd that doesn't react to the music at all. I mean c'mon we're supposed to be fans lets dance and vibe and have a good time. It really is the greatest part of a metal show for me.
