I was very lucky indeed! (about 4 am on that Melloboat festival filled with cult features and some other great bands like Opeth and Katatonia. Steven Wilson attended as well, not performing, just to experience it all. The most cult happening was the reunion of Åkerfeldt's heroes Comus)

But then again I want to remember the whole Mats & Morgan Allstar band was about a 4 hour show, they started around midnight and played til 4AM. what pedal is fredrik playing? its hard to tell if its a volume pedal or like...a rocking footswitch that acts like a vibrato bar? I'm really confused by what I'm seeing him do with it and the sounds he's making with it

If I remember correctly he moves the delay time making it glitch and change pitch. Like a delay pedal would do if one fiddles with the time knob while delay is on and trails are heard. Sounds weird but cool tho!

Any expression pedal will work because the effect is being done in the line 6 unit behind him I think. It's just a delay effect where it jumps between a short delay time (set at the heel of the expression) and a slightly higher time at the toe. You really just need to feel out the settings to get the right warble.

I love this Fredrik's custom Ibanez. So minimalistic and solid, pure monolith. Very interesting which scale length on this one, maybe 26.5?
