I am literally crying. This song saved me and my best friends life. We were (are) going through depression, and this song has helped us tremendously. When it says "it feels like tomorrow, is just to far away" I can't help but to burst into tears. Because I feel this every day. I LOVE OF MICE AND MEN. They truly care, and relate to what is going on in their fan's lives.

People say the stupidest thigns to grab attention but this might not even be one of them. I just believe these people don't really know what they're going through and go on the 'bands save lives' wagon. This song saved my life... And No I'm not a 12 year old fan girl.. I'm a 21 year old full time employee & college student. My 2 best friends got killed in a car accident 2 months ago.. I was suppose to be there that night... I was the one who called them to tell them to come over to my house.. I have to live the rest of my life with that on my shoulders.. I just got out of a mental hospital and am getting healthy again. Music does save lives.. This song did not necessarily "save me" but it gives me hope and that's enough to get me through the day..

And I absolutely agree. Music does save lives,and give hope. I'm 17 (almost 18) dealing with Anxiety and it's so difficult some days. This song helps so much. When I was 13 - 15 I was Severely depressed & had Suicidal thoughts & was self-harming. I was 16 when I first found this song,and I remember crying to it,from the relief of comfort & Closure I found & Still find in it. I can't fathom how difficult it must be for you some days... too many let their depression take hold. ive been lucky enough to save some friends from the same fate but some peoples minds are made long before they make a choice. ive batteled with it in life too but one day i just kinda realized. why worry about the things you can do nothing about. concentrate and worry on the things you can change and life will become so much easier. before you know it problems dont even phase you anymore because nothing is looming overhead. its just rolling with the punches at that point. new problems you face are easy compared to being a prisoner of your own mind.

This video brings so much more meaning into the song than there already is. I relate to this entire album and this song in general reminds me of when I have a mental breakdown followed by a panic attack. And the video just adds to the effect of the song and what the song means. This music video is exactly how I would describe my mental breakdowns/panic attacks. Love Of Mice so much.

I have mental breakdowns from keeping things in and my panic attacks are usually because I'm afraid of dying and I haven't had panic/anxiety disorder my whole life. It started after I lost my best friend to suicide. And I always have flashbacks to my past and that's where the mental breakdowns and panic/anxiety attacks come from. My friends have been helping me so much for the past two years and I couldn't be any more thankful for that. Thank you for your concern. It means a lot.

I have a lot of things that keep me alive and their music is what helps me get my mind back together and in order and Restoring Force has helped me do just that and it tells me that I'm not the only one who's gone through shit and that I'm okay and it's getting better. Of Mice & Men saved my life so many times. Once, when my aunt had cancer, I heard a voice whisper in my ear saying "ur not aloen, ur with me." I turned around and Austin "The Other Jesus" Carlile was standing right behind me. I knew he would come. I had been praying to Lord Carlile for years. He cared so much that he decided to stop signing the shirts of 12 year old fangirls at Warped Tour to come save my aunts life. But then.. He summoned every scene hardcore dancer within 10 miles. Then their most br00tal breakdown from their song "Ur Not Aloen" started playing, and they spin kicked my aunt back to life. Thank you Austin, thank you. You are the only member that matters.

I don't know if you believe in God but from my experience in life from once being on a path of reckless self destruction from finally hitting the bottom, God has a plan for us all and all we need to do is believe in Him. For God hears the words you don't. He sees how they act when you aren't there. So, he made moves you couldn't so that you blossom into the best you can be. It might seem callous of me to say all that. I have faith in you to grow and realize that though it hurts, you'll grow not only stronger but more importantly wiser. But as the saying goes if you love it/them let them go and if they love you they won't go but stay by your side through thick and thin. So from someone who genuinely knows your struggle, stay strong and focused in this beautiful journey called life. I think it's funny actually because I was diagnosed with depression at the age of 9, (I'm not attention seeking, just putting it out there for the statement I'm making,) and I've been dealing with it ever since but, this song really helps me & then there are these people commenting on this video saying that 12 & 13 year olds are too young to even know what depression is and that this song can't save lives when in reality, Of Mice & Men's music has helped me more than actually talking to somebody but, that's just my opinion.
