This is what I hate about some fans of the metal genre: first people complain that there's too much screaming in the songs and say "oh we would love to hear some cleans from them that would be great" but the minute any band does a song like this on their album it means they've sold out because "they don't scream as much as they used to." I've seen and heard this happen multiple times and I'm sorry to fucking break it to you but just because a band doesn't scream as much anymore doesn't mean they sold out. It's called trying something different. Because I'm more than sure that if OM&M kept screaming and sounding like they always have then people would complain that "it just sounds the same and nothing new." It's like some people will never be satisfied enough and that's sad. OM&M is a great band along with other bands that have apparently "sold out" because they are still very passionate about what they put out and i can argue with you about that too. If you don't like their new music then that's just too bad for you because a lot of other people like me do.rant over :P

I don't wanna be "that guy" but I miss Shayley's influence in the band. Something feels missing now. I'm a fan of the new style, but eh, Aaron does not mesh with Austin as well as Shayley did. And after listening to Dayshell, there's something missing in that sound as well although I see greatness in that band.

Aaron has loads of talent, Jamie's Elsewhere was an awesome band when he was in it. I really haven't listened lately to them, but I know that first album was sick. But I also feel that he brought an element to the writing process that is now missing. It's like there were 2 different sounds in the band and they lost 1 so they're compensating for it. But that's just how I see it.

I may be wrong, but here is what I got from the music video. In the song Aaron says "If I could find the words" as in the narrator does not have the capability to fully express his love for the other person. Therefore he is being restricted by lack of vocabulary to show his full feelings for another. I think the meaning behind the gas masks is that EVERYONE is restricted to reach their full potential in some way, and until you find what makes you happiest (In this music video it was their significant other) you will remain with an obstruction in your life.
