I love this song so much it ac be interpreted in so many ways. Personally, I feel that this song is about commitment and trust and how they can be such terrifying and beautiful things when it with the right person. You trust them so much you sometimes feel as if it’s yourself but you realize the scariness of giving away the thoughts within your mind. Trust and commitment can be like wolves without teeth. when i hear this song i am reminded of that old saying, " their bark is worse than their bite". To me what is implied is that these wolves may be unable to physically hurt you but their words tear through you. you wouldn't be running from their bites, but their words and words hurt more than any physical injury can. an injury may leave a physical scar but the initial pain and damage is repaired, but sometimes emotional damage lasts a lifetime and never fades or goes away. so in essence a wolf without teeth's best weapon is their words not their bite.

joke's on you. wolfs can't talk..
@mychatpalace3 жыл бұрын
@@bettinalykke5151 yes, yes i am aware you are joking; but to those who didn't grasp what i meant in case that happens. A wolf is also an old slang term for a person who is aggressively chasing women in a bad way and also for anyone disguising themselves as a friend when they are really a foe. "wolves in sheep's clothing" is also one saying that reflects this and "the wolves of wall street" meaning that someone is money hungry enough and ruthless and will do anything to climb the cooperate ladder. so it basically means that sometimes what appears to be friendly can be actually massively destructive.
@MrPiotrV5 ай бұрын
that is most definitely NOT what that saying means.
@mychatpalace5 ай бұрын
@@MrPiotrV dude this was 2 years ago. i wasn't implying the saying is what i meant. i said it "reminded me of it" i think of the saying; but not the meaning of it. just because it reminded me of someone who is utilizing words rather than actions to hurt people. doesn't mean that i was talking about the literal meaning of an old idiom. how you got whatever you got from me being reminded of something is beyond me. i was talking about what the song means to me... not the idiom.

I thought I'd be accused of sexual orientational bias at least, if not actual homophobia, since it implies that a woman loving another woman has less validity than a man feeling the same way. Though we are wired to be attracted to symmetry, they decided to emphasis asymmetry within the video, it shows a-symmetry of identical twins, clearly the director could have called cut at every differentiation, instead, it seems as if they exaggerated the difference in movement, making a point of the different ways people with the same nature can turn out, I think it's because we are also wired to view flawed gestures as relatable.

Another brilliant video, simple, clean and for me perfect. So many videos nowadays flick from image to image far to quickly never staying long enough for your brain to comprehend what is going on. MOM keep up those brilliant videos,

I can tell that the left one is the more carefree and silly one. The right one is the more serious one.

I know I saw that too haha. I like it tho, one is more emotional about it and the other is more serious. I think it works well with the video

IKR? I have a twin and I'm more like the one on the right.
@crash19981008 жыл бұрын
+sexyloser I don't see it as seriousness but more as less confidence. I have the impression that she was worrying how she'd look in the video: Swaying less, grabbing hair instead of swinging it around, raising her eyebrow (giving sort of pose), and stuff like that. At least I feel that it's that because it's exactly what I couldn't help but do if I were her.
@kobifarag63938 жыл бұрын
I agree that it is a matter of confidence but showing in a video on youtube for millions of people to see by itself requires a lot of confidence, so I think she already has a lot of it, I don't know if i have enough to show in youtube myself...

I feel like the twins just came from a walk into the forest. The left one was looking for faeries, fireflies and squirrels, founding the beauty in everything hidden. The right one was focusing on the path, concentrate so they would not be lost. One would be wandering in the forest forever without the other, the other would not discover the magic in the world without the one. They are two different faces of the same coin. And if one is gone, the other cannot be happy again. They are the Moon and the Sun. Bright together.

@@jakegenever7174 Well Jake, it's true, everything you want is on the other side of fear. I am also a strong believer in starting small or don't start at all. Sometimes those little small steps towards something create a trickle which can lead to a waterfall. I also used to think, love was the only emotion strong enough to overcome fear, but from experience, I realized, the only emotion strong enough to overcome fear is hope.

Someone mentioned this song was about the soul, and that does make some sense. However, I like to think that instead it's about one's past, their demons, their regrets, and dreams that never were. The wolves. The empowering notion that you can move forward despite these wolves, as long as you're moving forward...your past has no teeth.
