What Nintendo should do(although I highly doubt they will) is remake all 3 games for the 3DS as a final sendoff for the console. The games would all feature modern 3D graphics and possibly the inclusion of some of the unused items, sprites, music, cutscenes etc. from the original games, but they would otherwise be exactly the same as the originals.

I`m really happy with this video. well, I didn`t have idea that those clouds where actually npcs. I always found interesting how they use all those layers in the game, specialy in the battles background since I always wanted to know how they made those backgrounds. XD it`s interesting to see how all the maps are connected with each other, for example the full tunnel or how you just walked from twoson to happy happy village. I always though that they were separeted, I guess they put all the maps toghether to save memory. funny that you show Everdred in the battle scene since there is a ghost sprite of him in the files of the game. I was wondering if you can actually zoom out like that in the game? also, if you talk to jackie from his back, he will change his eye pacth to the other eye. ; P you can use that carrot key on the cow in happy happy village too, you will just get a short and silly dialoge from the cow if you do so. if you check the art concept of the game that Shigeshato made before making the game, you will see that Ness was supose to meet Poo by climbing a weird elephant looking tower and reaching in that way Dalaam, however it was cut much later and they made that Poo teleport to Ness instead in the game. don`t be afraid to sound like a teacher, lol. this kind of videos can be very usefull to people who are learning to make video games. ; P I really enjoyed the video, and I really loved that intro. I will love to see your next video. ; ) wishing you the best.

Earthbound is a really special game, too. Even though I grew up being an RPG lover during the NES and SNES eras, I somehow missed this one until about 2 years ago, when I played it on Wii U VC for the first time. Somehow, this game gave me incredible feelings of nostalgia despite the fact I never played it in my youth... It's truly magical and really captures the ethos of its era. Half-Life is pretty dull to be honest, there's not much outside of the maps in any of the games. There's a couple oddities like the box filled with Gaben in HL1, but even that room is actually used by the game. I'm pretty sure it's used to store entities until they're needed and then they get teleported in. It actually exists in multiple maps too, most notably the final boss fight where it stores a Garagantua. Half-Life 2 is pretty dull as well, Valve made sure to end scenery after you can no longer see it, although there is a random cube in one of the maps of the chapter Sandtraps. Half-Life 2 Episode 2 could be interesting though, since there's a lot of open space in the later maps (and maybe Episode 1 to a certain extent, I've always felt as though Episode 1 was rushed so it's possible something was left in after being cut).

I usually don't leaving millions of comments on videos. But I just wanted to say, you really opened by eyes even wider on my favorite game. You helped me learn things on something I thought I already knew everything. Thanks dude! I eagerly await something like Mother 3 or Earthbound Zero.

I started watching your videos today and so far I like them. This video reminds me of how in older Pokémon games, I always used to talk to gym leaders from their side or back for two reasons. 1. I wanted to see them from another angle since they tend to face forwards. 2. I hoped I'd find a character that for some reason wouldn't have a sprite for all directions. It's funny how I thought that would happen, especially for such important characters. I knew nothing of sprite sheets or how games are made back then.

Isn't earthbound that one game that copied undertale?

How did Earthbound copy a game that was released 21 years later? Earthbound came out in 1994 Undertale came out in 2015

Well done, Shesez! It's always good to see the work of a fellow Earthbound fanboy. I don't know how much your fanhood of Earthbound transfers over to the Mother Trilogy as a whole (of which Earthbound is the second installment), but if you're familiar with Mother 3 for the Gameboy Advance, if you ever decide to take on the challenge of doing a "Boundary Break" episode dedicated to Mother 3 (I won't blame you if you decline, because it's a MASSIVE game in its own right), maybe you could find out more about the mystery of why a lone Mr. Saturn is embedded in the wall behind "Club TitiBoo". Thanks again! :D

This was a great episode episode. I didn't realize boundary breaking 2D games like these were possible but now this opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

This was a great video, I found it just as interesting as the 3D episodes. I never really realized how 2D games worked visually until now. Awesome video man, keep up the great work. :)
