Your cabin build is really impressive. What kind of stain did you use for the pressure treated beams. It looks really good! You sir are an awesome craftsman. I will someday build a smoker like yours, great design and thought process on all of your projects.
@DeepSouthHomestead4 жыл бұрын
The beams are painted with the color, Gingerbread paint.

Looks gorgeous Danny, you're such a craftsman! The shine on the pine is fabulous so whatever you used it worked. My Doctor's Surgery has a ceiling with exactly that arrangement of beams, isn't that weird. Whether it's the Deep South or Nottingham (The one in the UK) it's a good idea.

Looks great but why do you call your new location off grid with electric switches and ceiling light boxes already in place?

Thats so I can hook my generator up and run the cabin.
@davemeeks81094 жыл бұрын
@@DeepSouthHomestead Excellent that was actually my first guess. I have done fairly similar things at my home. In the earlier years I would shut off my 400 amp, service so as to not electrocute line service folks after a bad storm and plug in my generator. With modern technology that is all done automatically. I have enjoyed many of your videos. I'm sure you know as well as I do that the number of humans with the ability to do many thing and learn quickly are farther and fewer between.
