Off grid cabin in the woods complete build. In this video I build a small off grid cabin made from logs on my own property. I built this log cabin as cheap as possible using mostly natural materials and around 300 dollars in building supplies. This cabin took years to build.

I sincerely really enjoyed your video Bo and seeing how you live in your spare time. We share the same dream eventhough there is an ocean between us (I'm in Wales UK). I'm still waiting until I've saved enough before I begin my build. I was in the army in my 20's, got married when I came out and spent later 20 and my 30's earning enough to keep my family. Nursed my parents through illnesses in my 40's and lost them both and now in my 50's I'm disabled with diabetes and osteo-arthritis. Hi Bo, we have the same story. You started out little more plump, and I did also when i started watching you. I'm now more like you in size :D Watching from Norway, in Europe, and has been watching for some years. I also dream of the wildernes and build myself a cabin in the woods. I have four kids, and I'm 41 years old, so it's not that easy to start, and you need the money. I have the money to build a smal cabin, but the land over here is so expensive if you live in my area. I can drive maybe 3-4 hours in car and get cheaper land, but I have not the time where I'm at in my life. I have a cabin on my own property where my house is, so from time to time, I go out there and sit, and do stuff (insulated and all that, not a woodstove, but a heater, but I never use the heater...) Thanks for taking us with you on the journy. I hope to see more videoes. God bless. Jesus is Lord and Saviour.

Hi Bo, great video of a look back at building your Cabin in the woods. There is something nice about being in a quite woods setting after the hustles of everyday life. I remember seeing some parts near the end in a previous video. Must say that you are very creative to make do with what you have to get what you need to accomplish done. Glad that you included the lake footage with the peaceful duck family floating along in the water. It is interesting that your father had 10 brothers and sisters.
