Wow Ken, you almost made it up with the ridge cap with no hands! Thanks for showing how you cut and bend the end to make it look finished at the end. That looks nice. It's great that you could bend the ridge cap more for this roof. So you are attaching the ridge cap at each high seam of the metal roof? Thanks for the drone shots. How much overlap? About an inch? Wow, you have to pour a porch and put some posts down too. The batten strips and trim around the door look nice. Chad and Dan did a nice job on the soffets! Nice that you got the roof on except for the porch roof. It does look wonderful Ken! Thanks for this video!

have to say the quality of the work of this guy is fantastic. I have been watching on site and he is very meticulous and makes sure everything he does is perfect. (which is one of his favorite phrases) I am very pleased with the overall build and quality, even fighting the weather just about every day. He is always in a good mood and takes everything in stride. Such a nice guy to work with.

Wonderful video. I'm sorry to hear you didn't get great relief from the nerve procedure on your right wrist. Did it give you some help? I have a similar problem with my wrist and have found significant relief by applying diclofenac gel (over the counter) to the back side of the wrist joint and wrapping it loosely with coban, (available at any drug store). The coban provides minimal support but mostly keeps the gel covered and in position. I keep in on for 8-12 hours. Much better than a brace which is cumbersome. Kind Regards. Craig

Looking good Ken and crew. Will you be able to tell us the cost of the build "as is"? I am 66 and you have 2 times the energy and stamina as I do. I guess that's the price I paid for having a desk job and watching Ken's Karpentry as my exercise. I too am wondering why the vented ridge cap wasn't used? AKA mesh between the ribs to keep unwanted creatures out. Thanks
