The Maine Woods

Күн бұрын

It's been a long time coming. We stumbled upon the opportunity to purchase this off grid cabin in remote northern Maine. This will be a huge project to improve the road and renovate the cabin inside and out.
In July, just before I bought the cabin I was hospitalized and diagnosed with diverticulitis and an intestinal abscess. This infection made me lose weight and strength and I'm still slowly recovering.

I love how you love Gracie. You take such good care of her and you really look out for her comfort. Which brings me to this point, take care of yourself. I can tell you are not feeling 1000%, even tho the work you do exceeds what many healthy people do. But while we enjoy you, you are Gracie’s world. The place is looking fantastic and your improvements are noticeable. It will truly be awesome when you have it done. You are a great cook, have your meals planned and you make me hungry every time! Your vid is great that you include the nature around the cabin, sharing with us what makes the cabin special to you. Hope you are feeling better.

Rick is an alright guy for sending that set-up for you and Gracie to be able to sleep comfortably! You probably don't feel it, but already you've made a BIG difference in the appearance of the property. It's very pretty there. One of your many blessings is good friends. God bless and continue to take care so you and yours can enjoy the outcome. Love you, Gracie and your channel!

Wow Cory, some of your trees are changing colors! My husband has diverticulitis, and we changed his eating habits, and he has done well over 15 years. If you want to reach out to me, I can tell you what we did; as the doctors' things did not work for us. Praying for you to get back to good health. Cory, I love 1 Thessalonians 4:11-14 may you keep sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Hope you start getting your strength back mate. Just a suggestion when making those wooden stakes for the tarp lines - if you slightly chamfer around the top edges with a knife, it helps them stop splitting and crowning when pounding them in. Had a question for you. When you cook the delicious aromatic food, I'm sure the fragrance goes past your cabin and into the woods. Does this attract the woodland creatures visit to your area? I have thought about this so many times but did not want to ask you but I am getting really curious. Beautiful memory verse.

Although cooked eggs can be a nutritious treat for your dog, raw eggs are dangerous. As with humans, raw eggs can expose dogs to harmful salmonella, which can then spread back to their pet parents (especially those with a compromised immune system).
