Brilliant Rob. Thank you for your insight. Looked at a few non electric black waste setups and I’ve not heard of this system. The one that did appear to do the job was the Biorock. A non electric system. French company with what looks to be a decent product. There’s a UK company that has a product called the Eco System, but not sure on the method/principles. I shall be going to the Glamping Show at NAEC Stoneleigh, Coventry the week after next. Looking at setups for waste amongst other topics. Keep up the great work and please do a follow up on this in a few months👏 Hope you feel better soon👍

Great! I will have a look into the Biorock and Ecosystem to see what they are about. Thanks for the suggestions!

the clay pipes are field drains you want to keep them if they are intact, am enjoying your vlogs, you are doing so well by yourself !!
@beyondtheworkbench Жыл бұрын
Aha! Are they to help the drainage in general or for something specific relating to the barn? Thank you very much!

if they are intact they drain the fields ,there must be a point of exit. a ditch perhaps next to a fence at the lowest area of your field, hope this helps you ,i had to replace mine last year at a price of £3800 for a 5 acre field ,good luck!!@@beyondtheworkbench

i was thinking last night ,if you see the pipes there is already damage done as these pipes are laid at least 3 ft deep ,you will know if there is damage elsewhere as the ground will be super soggy and perhaps ponds or pools in low laying areas also the rashes you were thinking of using in you septic pond may not be usefull for that purpose hope this helps you, i wont butt in anymore cheers eileen @@beyondtheworkbench

You aren't butting in! The comment section is where I learn a lot about how other people might do things. Thanks for the update@@eileenowens8888

I'm curious why you did not opt to just use a nature's head or air head composting toilet and create a humanure pile somewhere on the property... Does local law prevent you from doing that?

I don't think I had heard of such a system. I will look into it now I have though as it sounds very interesting
@Renigade16 Жыл бұрын
@@beyondtheworkbench I think you made the right choice with this system. It functions far more like a refusal toilet and you don't need to empty the bucket and manage a complete pile every month. You just spin it every few months and empty it once a year. That looks far easier imo.

Where are you located? I.e. What is the lowest temperatures you encounter please.

Hi, Scotland so likely the worst we will see is just under freezing. I intend on building an insulated shed for the tank if that was what you were about to suggest, just needed it together first.

Thanks! I managed to hobble it all together in the end and the manual is long gone. Great product though if it was made in Sweden
