That's a lot of knife for the price! Your reviews are always fun to watch. Relating to your edc review I watched yesterday, I was thinking, this guy needs to move here to Eastern Oklahoma. NO knives are illegal to carry here and the cost of living is cheap.
@DonnieBAllDay2 жыл бұрын
I did my BCT at FT Sill in good ole Oklahoma, where the wind goes sweeping through the plains. As far price? Can't believe it's marked so low. Worth it ten times over

@@DonnieBAllDay I live in eastern Oklahoma near the Arkansas state line, it's not plains here, hills and mountains (green country) lol.

I just found your channel a couple of days ago and absolutely appreciate your reviews. I'm very torn between this and the Tracker X2. I'm a female with pretty small hands (no Alpha Dog for me!). Which knife do you prefer of the two and would one be way worse for small hands over the other?
@DonnieBAllDay Жыл бұрын
I think the grip on the Ridgeback would do you better. It's also the best cutting fixed blade they have

Love the knife and a great demo of it's various capabilities as always Dbad. I am thinking I really need to look at off grid knives as camp tools and possibly edc with this one. I do love me a spearpoint.

Reminds me of the boker kormaran great bushcrafter super sharp scandi 14c28 Sandvik I love this steel it strops back to such a wicked edge and it holds it quite well too because it is such a clean steal with a super fine grain structure...

Hi Donnie B from New Zealand 🇳🇿. Looks awesome for general utility and game meat processing. Having watched your videos I think I will purchase and carry a small bushcraft knife for meat processing and carry one of my bigger blades (Kukhri House survival blade)for the heavy duty stuff. Thanks for the no bs advice. Regards Dave

I just came back from the website and they are not using 14c28n steel, but *Sigh* D2. I know D2 is a good steel but I don't think it is an outdoor steel. I consider D2 to be a Glass cannon of steel, it can hold a wicked edge but it is easier to break. I know that if you use a knife properly, D2 will be a fine steel, but this is an outdoor knife that is expected to be abused.
@DonnieBAllDay Жыл бұрын
So many of my banger blades are D2. I've never had a single issue. I even did my own dbad Menace camp knife in D2 and use that one all the time
@johnsmithfakename8422 Жыл бұрын
@@DonnieBAllDay The D2 I am mostly referring to is Cheap Chinese D2 that was given an at best adequate heat treatment.. I know not all D2 is that D2 but enough mass produced D2 was that D2 that it ruined all D2 for me.
