I lived in Greece for many years your water is from a well so its free you have to literally drown your veggies the poor tomatoes are just twigs, either very early in the morning or late evening give them a drink from the hose a watering can isn't enough as it evaporates into the atmosphere because of the heat. I don't like making negative comments but I feel you need to look at angies garden ask her advice. Your onions should have been a lot lot bigger with the summer you have but they need water to grow. I do hope you get good news on the land we are all waiting for the green light let's see how quick this money can get raised you really need that piece of land 😀 🤞🤞🤞

Ouch, I can feel that! I'd definitely want the land, it'd be perfect for you as part of yours but a bit pricy at 10k. If each of your KZbin subscribers gave you a £ on Ko-fi you'd have more than enough & some to spare after knocking the price down a tad. Best to put a piece of greaseproof paper or something between the lid & glass jar of onions as the acidity of the vinegar will make the lid rust & it'll drip into the onions rendering them inedible. Diogo & Frankie are great pals now, so nice for Frankie to have a friend & playmate. Keep cool if you can.

Where I live on my farm. A broody chicken is an Off grid Incubator and heat lamp. If you have friends with hens, turkeys, ducks or geese even, and you would like to try to hatch some. Then I say ask the broody hen if she will help you. They normally do. My ones adopt baby turkeys even when they have not sat on them for weeks as eggs. Just want to say too that Diogo is gorgeous! As are all of your beautiful furry and feathery family. Bless you all.

Buying property is such a delicate thing with family owned farms. They are a lot of responsibility. Especially if you don’t live there. 1000€ an isolated acre with a well is a very good return. Combined on a deed would be ideal for all parties. Nice well maintained.

Toilet paper rolls that are empty can go along your tomato plants like a sleeve they are bio degradable and they give them lots of strength and if you plant them up to first leaves they are sturdier

Honestly €1000 is more than enough, we bought under 5 hectare for 20k not far from CB, also if land next door to you was sold you should have been officially offer the land at the price it was sold for.. it's the law in Portugal. Hope you're injury heal up soon.

10,000 € is too much but if there's competition.......it will cost. If a local is buying it may just costs 3-4 k. I have seen a couple of properties that are small just with a borehole cost from. 3,800€ and 7,000 the last 10 months.

Hi guys, glad your OK after your fall. Honey will help your bruises. Doggo is doing well in his training. Good news about the land, barter the price down. That table is lovely and solid. Gardening is getting more difficult watering morn / evening too. Your pickle onions look so good. I did pickled cabbage this year.....I will open it for Xmas. I'll let you know how it went. I'm sorry about your fall, Carissa. I crashed my bike too a couple of years ago. I tried to stop my fall by putting my hand down on the pavement & ended up breaking my bone at the elbow from the shock. It probably would have been better to take the scrapes- they heal quicker. I'm glad you didn't break your arm! I hope the land owner is willing to make a deal with you both.

Good luck with getting the land! Talk with Cindy Vine - she's buying the plot next to her over time. Enjoying your vlogs from Aotearoa New Zealand. We live on 1.1ha (3 acres) overlooking Tasman Bay. Although we are not off grid we grow most of our fruit and veges. I make sauces relishes, pickles and dehydrate a lot of the fruit such as persimmons, pears plums and apples. Best wishes for your foray into pickling.
