Great job chinking the seams , definitely a slow tedious task, but finish product looks great. Yeah I'd lose my bologna too if I looked away. Nice aerial footage.

Chinking is a slow process using my own mixture but it’s fun and rewarding, yes the pup is still learning, not trained like Tucker and my older dogs

That was so funny the dog made off with your BolognaHaHaSame thing happened to my Dad when he was bowing steaks, went inside to get bbqsauce came out and dog was going off with steaks in his mouth neither swear word said lol

Would chinking just before placing a log be better? You wouldn't have to push it in afterwards. Maybe there'd be a batch workable time limit.

I left the logs in place for over a year to shrink and settle first. This way there is no cracking…Another reason why I left about a 3 inch gap over doors and windows…to allow for this.

Just a little get away place to get out of the weather or enjoy a cup of tea, to warm up while out on skidoo. It was a project that was built to share, to get more people out in the great outdoors no matter your age….a little extra comfort for those too out on snowshoes. A place to rest up.

The brindle coloured one is a Cane Corso - Italian Mastiff.
