It's very brave from that group of explorers to interact with new people of an unharmed civilization despite not knowing their intentions or how their arrival could be perceived by the indigenous peolpe. They have all my respect 🫡

@@justinmorgan2126 Why do you think that _it never existed at all?_ The tabernacle that it was to be placed in almost certainly existed. A candlestick and table, which was also to be placed in the tabernacle, definitely existed. Many other arks, virtually identical in size/construction to the one described in The Bible, existed throughout the region.
