One of the best channel startups out there. Nice work, good knowledge base and you explain things well in plain English. Best of luck to the channel.

I like Jack shaft setup I too have almost exact same thing on mine I bought it as a un finished project and was almost going to remove the whole thing to go with c.v or swing arm live axle. I'm curious to see how those u joints hold up kinda worried going with a ninja 250 .

yeah with a high hp engine it would be worth using CV axles. I suggest going to a U-Pull it Junkyard, you can get a pair for about $15 each. Cut them and reweld the axles to your width and itll hold up great.

What size us ur chain. Mine is size 40, And it seems to skip on sprocket going to my drive.
@gaspedalgarage76705 жыл бұрын
this is 40 chain as well. you should check tension and especially alignment that can cause those issues

How much did it cost for you to build that frame?
@gaspedalgarage76703 жыл бұрын
Not sure exactly, purchased the raw steel online and welded it all myself so that kept costs fairly low

@@gaspedalgarage7670 I'm in the process of building a kart. I have a 54 tooth #40 sprocket..... that's it. I've looked and looked and can't find what tooth clutch to use. Or any of the other 2
@gaspedalgarage76704 жыл бұрын
HotHeaded Productions I’m not sure I understand what part your are referring to. Sorry

@@gaspedalgarage7670 how many teeth should my centrifugal clutch have, how many teeth should the sprocket that connects to the clutch have. Then how many teeth should the sprocket that connects to the drive gear have. I don't wanna burn up clutches
@gaspedalgarage76704 жыл бұрын
HotHeaded Productions there’s a lot of other factors that make up that decision. Weight of the kart, how fast you want to go, how much torque but I think most clutches have a standard tooth count between 9 and 12 so somewhere in there should be fine
