I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually like the Raptor exhaust. It's unique to it. The TRX and Zr2 sounds so similar to each other I doubt you could tell the difference from behind (where there is no supercharger sound). It's no V8 sound but other than a GTR, nothing else sounds like it and it sounds aggressive. That said, I hated the way the Gen 2 sounded.

Yes I prefer a v8 especially now that there 1st to go extinct once evs do finally takeover have you noticed that almost every brand are dropping their v8s for turbo six dodge toyota hyundai to name a few

@@boii8573 Yep, and it's possible to tweak and tune the Raptor (Gen 2 or 3) to as much as a TRX. Won't be cheap but I'll take my V6 gas mileage, not to mention I love the sound of the Gen 3 opening up under an overpass - despite what others say it's not "just like any other V6".

Here's my two cents. The Chevy has the best sound. The TRX takes it with performance, and the Raptor gets fuel economy, the best jump, and overall appearance.

Even with a faster speed then required to complete that jump for the Raptor. The Raptor completed the jump without being any issues. I remember Street Speed totalling his first $93000 TRX jumping a creek. Even that TRX sounded like it broke when it landed. You can't stand that the Raptor is a better truck than the Ram 1500 with a Hemi pretending to be a trophy truck. That's why mysteriously the Raptors tie rod broke.

Some badass trucks! The Raptor got more air on the jump, maybe because of ramp entry speed and vehicle weight. TRX sounds the best with that Hellcat engine. Chevy/GM needs to step their game up and just throw a Camaro ZL1 engine in there. Can't wait until the Raptor R drops the hammer on every off-road truck out there!

You gotta remember the TRX is like 800-900lbs heavier than the Raptor so the sweet spot for the Raptor might be 34-35.
