At 22:00 you can see the side step of the rebel take a huge impact from the slick rock. It looks like it got bent slightly. I loved this review it was super informative and well cut and put together. You guys did really good! I don't think I would pay the extra for the raptor. I love that Rebel a lot! I think I could spend a bit of that 15k on a lift, tires, and front locker and it would crush all these comparisons.

@@malifestro7596 I thought the same thing about the sidestep no mention of that. I think both of the sides took large impacts, but driver's side look worse. Also if you see the rebel on tailpipe crusher the left bumper was dragging on the drivers side. They only showed the side next to the tail pipe. I do admit the Rebel plowed for everyone else. Curious why you didn't show the Raptor tail section like you did with the Boss and Rebel. I actually thought the Trailboss was going to get the most damage. I just find it funny that the Raptor is last. I mean isn't it the most offload worthy. Instead they let the Boss and Rebel find the lines.

How am i on crack? go look at used 2017 models and tell me how much they lost their resale value. so in other words i'm guessing he traded his truck into one of those typical big car dealership and they low balled him on his trade in because they knew how much he wanted an older raptor with a v8? lol well gee there's his problem. Everyone with common knowledge knows that you get low balled with trades in from big car dealerships. He obv didn't do much looking around before trading it in, to get suckered into to paying 15k ontop of his trade in for a raptor that was 2 years older. So unless he had a decent amount of miles on his truck already and the raptor that was 2 years older had hardly any miles on it, then there should've been no reason why he had to pay that much for it ontop of his trade in. If you want an off-road truck to do what they did in this video, go with the Raptor or even the new RAM TRX. But if you want a nice looking truck to use as an excellent daily driver with good off-road capabilities IF you do off-roading, the Rebel is the way to go due to the price difference between the Rebel and the Raptor; plus, the interior of the Rebel is a great place to be on long trips. Great job filming these fine machines in the desert. I believe for the price you can't go wrong with the Ram rebel. The standard features. The great interior. A real balance in off road and truck for the price. The Chevy had slightly better ground clearance, but that was about it. I agree you on the Chevy's interior. Reminded me of the early Pontiac Grand Am's from the 90's. I believe my 2014 FX 4 would have performed as good or better than the Chevy. No locking differential is a real disappointment. All great looking designs. The Raptor is in a league of its on, but you will pay to be in that league. My wife wants a Raptor. The only person saying no is ME. Maybe when my daughter gets out of high school. Great job guys. Keep up the good wok.

Cool Video. Thank You. It's nice to see them in stock configuration at Moab. I currently have a 16' Silverado. I really want to cheer for the Chevy, but man the Ram Rebel is a cool truck and it looks more off road capable than the Silverado. My biggest complaint with the new Silverado is the interior. It just doesn't look updated from my 16'. The Raptor in my opinion, really isn't a comparable truck because no one offers a comparable truck. The ZR2 Colorado is the closest thing to a factory baha truck (besides the Raptor) and they are completely different sizes and classes of trucks. So, again, no comparison. I would have much rather you used a F150 XLT or Lariat FX4. JMO
