Thanks. We were a bit unsure first time around but it is just so competent that we had nothing to worry about, and it was great when we passed a walker who said "You'll never get that up there!" and we said watch this and up it went. Brilliant!

Yes it is! We did this trip and also did 3 weeks overlanding in the Balkans in the L405 in 2023. Extremely capable, not just for going shopping in Waitrose! 🤣

Tell us about it!! We were actually in our older one at the beginning of this trip but the air suspension went and we had to go and get this which we had never green laned before. @Craig-c5e Ah yes, maybe, we only use the very extended mode when there's a particularly big obstacle but it usually does that automatically when it feels its necessary. We did an experience day with Land Rover in Solihull a while back and you can really see how it feels its way through. I'll post that video tomorrow or Thursday so you can see 👀

Thanks, that's good to know. We are a very new channel and don't get paid so it's very annoying that You Tube are putting ads in and putting people off. I hate the ads as well, so I just paid for You Tube Premium to get rid of the ads and did it for the family and it was only just a little bit more than my husband was paying just to remove ads from his one account. I think it's worth it.

Trouble with Todays Range Rover is they are a pair of patent leather Dancin Shoes that you cant Put to Work and just Bobb around like a Noddy Car as Opposed to the Swagger of a Coil sprung Proper RR Classic

The Range Rover classic was great, we agree, but the electronics in the L322 and even more so in teh L405 make it extremely capable, true four wheel drive. The disco in this video, shares its chassis and suspension with the Range Rover Classic; the live axels on the older ones limit ground clearance somewhat also. Do you drive a RR Classic at the moment?

It's a very competent vehicle off road. We've done the Land Rover experience at their test facility at the factory I'll post a video of that later, they can do just as much, if not more than many other 4x4 vehicles. Have you ever tried one off road?

@ a Land Rover is a different vehicle to a Range Rover vogue which is for shopping in the city my girlfriend had one two years ago it didn’t like wet grass never mind proper off-roading my land rover defender was a blast off-road

@anthonydevany7706 That's what people think. They call them "Chelsea tractors" and only go down to Waitrose with them but honestly they are great off road. They'll go anywhere the defender does and with a lot more comfort 😁⛰️🏔
