I do like this style of workout video. Being the age I am, (71) scaling these bodybuilding movements is of more personal interest to offset age related muscle loss. Having said that, I appreciate and watch all your videos and especially liked the previous macro video.

Thanks Kirsti and Pat, i enjoyed seeing you guys in this body-building style workout. The tempo you use is far different from what i use, you guys do the reps much faster and the structure is simular, heavier weight exercises first and then lighter weight, burnout as you say last. I've never really tried this overspeed type of training and will try next time i train, thanks again

The heavier weight is not quite as fast but the goal of the burn out set is to move a lighter weight faster for a high volume of reps! It really gives you a great pump! Give it a try!

Awesome video and, on the plus side for me, a workout I can still do while I'm recovering from a fairly significant knee injury (with some modification). Question: how far out from the start of the Open would you be looking to switch from "off-season" training to "on-season"? It might make for an interesting video to see how you plan out the various training phases of your season.

For the lighter weight, we were focusing on bigger sets and moving quicker for a burn out set ! The goal is muscle fatigue!
