loved the video a lot has changed since 1970 s.My uncle ran the sporting goods store and my grandpa ran the funeral home. I always visited in the summer and was served lots of danish etc. from the Clear Lake Bakery. I miss those visits where all my aunts and uncle's would gather for fish fry's , donuts and coffee. My last concert seen at the Surf Ballroom was Head East my guess 1974

I have a similar story but as a child from 75-85 when I was 15 was last summer. My aunt sally and uncle Lloyd and great grandma would take me in every summer. I absolutely cherish those summers. The smell of the bakery as I ride my bike into town. Oh my gosh. I just can’t describe it The muskee lounge after driving the boat over. The Dairy Queen with the bug Zapper going off as you stood at wi down fir your order. I really miss those times. I went out a few times to visit sally before she passed and it had changed so much. The lake looked so unhealthy too.

@@katiekassner My one uncle had a dock on the lake we would spend hours fishing and I do recall my grandma living about 8 blocks north of main street.... which was where they set up for the carnival. How about the A&W circular type building? The lake was always green but never smelled bad I recall... I feel blessed to have visited so many times
