Endless, Nameless is my favorite album. Thunderfuck is my favorite song. Bought Endless, Nameless at the same time as The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed, that I think is great album too, but totally different musically. Ginger is an genius and and still, far too unknown. A gem. I even once had a chance to go and meet the guys, in Finland. They we're touring in Helsinki and demoing songs for Chuzcpah album at the Suomenlinna's recording studio. I won somekind of meet and greet at Myspace :D Anyways's.... just rambling. Awesome band and legacy, both The Wildhearts and Ginger's other stuff too. I'm a lifer. Thanks for the nice album ranking....you got it almost right ;)

Hahahahaha! That was funny "you almost got it right" :) hehehe made me laugh! Of course not everyone's tastes are the same... and trust me, I LOOOOOOVE the Wildhearts and I did try for Endless Nameless... boy did i try! I do enjoy "pissjoy" and "Nurse Maximum" :) but it's a difficult (and different) album to get into sonically... :) Thanks for watching!

Too bad you have to wait til December, my new copy of PHUQ comes out in June :-) Nice episode, you got me laughing few times :-) Good job J-Money!

Ya the Deluxe version of the PHUQ cd comes much sooner than the vinyl…. Although it came with a digital download when i preordered it…. Game changer for sure releasing the album as it was intended to be….

Interesting episode, thanks. Personally I'd put Chutzpah! (vinyl version with Jnr) on top, but since all their albums are fantastic, it's a tight race. Also I had a similar experience as you did with Endless Nameless; I got home and put the CD on and the sound was shit! It sounded like the pressing had been distorted in some way, so I went back to the record store and once there I got to listen to a couple of more, but of course they all sounded the same. I love the live versions of Urge and Anthem that's on the 30 Year Old Itch album, so the songs would probably be so much better in a more "normal" version, but since Ginger himself says it''s his fav album and that they are supposed to sound that way, I guess we never will. Oh, and also...have another look inside the white S/T album - it's not lyrics, it's stories from each member about the album. really interesting.
@offthecharts2272 Жыл бұрын
Ya, most of their albums are quite fantastic - you are correct there! Hahahahaha, glad i'm not the only one who had a reaction with Endless Nameless... LOL Yes, i do have the 30 YEar Itch live album on vinyl also and much prefer the Endless Nameless versions on here.. Although, they've been reissuing their albums on CD/Vinyl with tons of bonus tracks (White, Chutzpah and now PHUQ) and kinda hoping they do the same with EN with all the bonus tracks they have with that session (I have it on CD called ANTHEM: The Single Tracks)... I'd buy it again on vinyl, even if I dont like that album so much... I am gonna go check out those stories from the white S/T album now! Thanks for that! And thanks for watching and commenting!

Maybe do a review of Ginger wildhearts solo albums...there's a lot of them and the silverginger5 album is awesome. Cj wildheart has some fabulous solo material and was also the driving force behind Honeycrack whose album Prozaic is a classic
@offthecharts22729 ай бұрын
That's not a bad idea... I do have lots of his solo albums... SilverGinger5 being the best (imo)... and his latest ZAP is also great... I do have 2 CJ albums also! So yeah, that episode could happen! :) Thanks for watching and commenting!

Fastway also has Pete Way from the band U.F.O. Let’s not forget.
@offthecharts227210 ай бұрын
FAstway began as an idea between Fast Eddie Clarke and Pete Way - yes... but Pete never recorded anything with them before going to Ozzy or Waysted (I forget which)... Eddie simply kept the name Fastway even if Pete had nothing to do with the band...
@d.bcooper781910 ай бұрын
@@offthecharts2272 I didn’t know that. Frankly I had joined the first way of speed/death metal heads back then and lost track of Fastway as well as many other rock bands of that era. We became rather elitist in our musical taste in those days, thankfully I got over that. Waysted was one of my favorites in the early 80s
@offthecharts227210 ай бұрын
@@d.bcooper7819 LOL All good, i only found out myself in the early 2000's... :) And yeah, I like Waysted too! And we all went through musical tastes where we thought our music was better than everyone else's :)
