I had a friend when I was in school for graphic design who lived with his parents in a huge mansion with a huge land with forrest around it. They even had 2 wolves walking around there, like next level guard dogs. But my friend would dress like a bum. He didn't like everyone to know he would never have to work a day in his life if he didn't want to. I kinda respected and understood that.

I’m 24 and feeling I’m behind but I shouldn’t feel that way. It’s a weird feeling and people older than me feel the same way. Life is weird and the sense of direction can be hard to see sometimes.

I think at a very young age I understood my brain was a sponge. I understood that there are times to shut up and listen and there is time to drop knowledge. Since probably 2014 I’ve listened to jk and I’ve always listened. Even down to the core “teaching good things in a bad way” . I don’t know if I could ever follow a person that has never done the things they say and own up to their failures and learn from their mistakes. Thank you JK! 👊🏽✊🏽

As someone who often hears on jknews how Bart, Joe, Ryan, Steve, Anthony talk about how theyre business owners/financially successful, I felt behind and thought I needed to be in a higher place at this point in my life. So it’s reassuring that people in jknews itself feel the similarly in some ways like can nick and subi mentioned. Life isnt a race :’)

2:30 I know Steve is joking but that's how I feel when I'm not where I want to be and people think, "wait until you're 40" makes me feel better. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. For example, people who find their life partners at 40+ or people who go for their dreams at 50, but personally for me, it doesn't match my lifestyle or personality. After enough years, "be single for yourself" gets old and tiring. It's like ok, yeah I already know what that's like, been through it, and there are studies that it can turn to resentment, depression or isolation if you've been alone your entire life or long enough*. Relationships or human connections are important for me and people NEVER understand what that means. They always give some basic throwaway advice on "self love" or "codependence." It's like you can still have love for yourself and still want company, solitary confinement wouldn't be considered torture if we literally didn't need people in some way. I don't mean needing people as in "I can't be in my own company" or I can't be single, but just normal, human interactions and relationships. It's like asking a couple to divorce for no reason and being like, "bUt yOU sHould be DepEndEnt as a HumAn aND bE AbLe mOve oN. It's not like you NEEEED her." Most healthy couples aren't together because they need the other person but it's not like you can just ask them to easily give up that person in a heartbeat. I don't want to be in a relationship just for the sake of having company, but I'd like to able to share the love I have with someone that deserves it. I'd rather live a shorter life if I knew I had to spend the next however many years alone. No offense, but it's like eating a mid meal for the possibility that you MIGHT get a good dessert. I know most people don't understand what it means and just dismiss it as "you just want a relationship, learn how to be single lol" which is annoying because I don't know how else to explain it to make people get it nor do I expect people to. For me, being with someone that's wrong for me and being completely alone are basically the same things. It's like if someone wanted to get married and have kids and was getting worried they would not find someone to start a family. And then someone gives them some useless advice like "you'll find someone at 55" and they start talking about how kids aren't really that important, how you don't need kids, etc. Maybe that's good advice somewhere, but it's completely useless and dismissive to the current person.

*I have best friends, but can we stop acting like family, friends, and romantic love are interchangeable lol...? I love them, but we all know you don't have the same type of love you have for your mom as you would your wife. Last time I checked, most people don't want to marry and have kids with their own family, that's a different type of love. It's like trying to fill a bucket by overflowing another next to it- you're just overflowing one and not really putting much into the other. Maybe, you'll get some in there if it's knocked down but the concept of substituting different types of love or trying to cover one with another never made sense to me. It's like telling someone who never had parental love, "but you have friends though" or like a married couple should be OK with no friends outside the marriage because they should be satisfied with just romantic love. Finance, I feel like I'm barely getting a hold of it and even then I'm not even close. The pessimism in me doesn't feel like I'll have the financial status that I want or that I'll always be struggling for money, but then I'll get random checks in the mail. There are some things where if I'm convinced I need it or there is no other option, it will somehow manifest? But other than that, I've never been good with money. Career is a slow progress but at least i like what I'm doing now.

Whats great about jk is learning there’s a lifestyle that can be achieved aside from the one “norm.” You don’t know what you don’t know; and it’s stressed that having a mentor is a huge part of being successful, so having jk is definitely an indirect mentor which makes me feel ahead of a lot of people who don’t even know what they’re missing

Buffet believe it or not is a profesional lazy person. It’s just his definition of lazy differs from ours. You see, throughout his life he grinds his way up 24/7 to buy and sell stocks and businesses.. in the eyes of his labourers, that man barely get off his office chair and stuck to his phone all day, what a lazy man. Most of them would kill for that. Jump to present day, where all the calls is not made by him, the “job” turns into a hobby. The man doesn’t need to show up on time, he doesn’t do talks everyday, he gets to do and spent his wealth as he pleased compared to us saving every dollar. The ultimate laziness. But he chose to show up anyway because it fills his daily life. When Joe spoke about laziness, and retirement. He didn’t take account to what moves his life. He needs projects to satisfy his life daily. It’s a cliche, if you’re doing what you love, you actually never worked a day in your life. This where hobbies and work differences blur. So if you love your 9-5 job then good for you. Some people had to do jobS just to survive, and i can’t imagine they liked it all.
