I’ve noticed it even with myself. On days that I’m more confident, I can feel it off the people I’m interacting with. But when I don’t, even those talking to me feel more groggy and less interested. Confidence is really important.

That’s so true what Bart said. I grew up in a really diverse area and I never thought I couldn’t try to date someone that wasn’t my race. My first girlfriend was Asian in 3rd grade and then a middle eastern on in 4th grade as in middle school a black girl and then Latina like that has never occurred to me that I couldn’t talk to a girl because of their race.

Alot of it has to do with where your born at and where your living. Where i live in socal, theres like only 3-5% asian population in school. So it was a bit hard to get out of the shell and date other races when the other race usually prefer their own race. But yes confidence does play a big role around highschool and after. But honestly if your fit and have alot of confidence/funny, you can def get any race easier.

Just a rule of thumb: it’s always easier to attract your own race in a multicultural society, but some things are universal male attractors, like height, confidence, charisma, ability to stay grounded. Go to the mirror and ask yourself if you’d date you and be honest. Cause some of y’all boys got some real work to do mentally,physically,spiritually, financially. But you don’t have to have everything in order to join the dance of life, it’s a chaotic world so work on your own peace/piece.

Before I watch this video, I am a dark skin black woman. I have never had issues with men being attracted to me. At any age. Black men have always been the most unkind and critical. Being thin and smart/nerdy, they accused me of trying to be white. I grew up on a military base with so many races, I knew that was bullshit. Thank God I found channels like jk. The Asian women I had in my life were not only open to help a young black girl, but made the best food. Spanish women as well. Only in my black community was I judged so harshly. I love my people, but they didn't let me be me growing up.

I think a big problem is the lack of “Asian Romantic Leads” in TV shows or movies. And even if they have a “Hot Male Asian” they often are “Halfie Asian”. I think the only TV show with a Male Romantic Asian lead I can think of recently is “Crazy Ex Girlfriend” Comparatively, there’s so many other shows that show Asian women in romantic relationships, often with white men. But the opposite is definitely not shown for Asian Men on the screen.

Everyone is born and raised in California and haven’t grown up in the South or in the East coast where Asians are less represented. But studies have shown people from all races choose Asian men & Black women last over all other races. That's just the facts though. I get what y'all are saying tho. I grew up in a multicultural area and moved to a white neighbourhood and still got attention all my life. It’s so interesting to me that some Asian men (not the incels…we know why they upset)would feel so strongly about that today with how popular Asian pop music is. Obviously normal Asian men don’t walk around looking like K-pop or J-pop idols but even monolids which seem to be a big insecurity for Asian people from videos I’ve seen, those are really pretty to a lot of people with double eyelids. I think a lot of it comes down to humans just wanting what they don’t have 🤷🏼‍♀️ you have naturally tan skin and monolids, you think pale skin and double eyelids are prettier and vice versa. Media doesn’t help either. Then there are the dbags who just don’t like anyone who looks different but we don’t care about them.

the crew missed the entire point of the conversation which i think is very unfortunate because they could have bring some good awareness to the issue. there've been studies where asian men are ranked at the bottom in the dating scene. dating is already hard enough for men, to have a built in disadvantage where western women do not find asian attractive make the matter worse for the average asian. it is like running a 100m race where everyone else is starting at 40m line and you're starting at 0m. a professor from penn state mentioned for an asian man of equal attractiveness, he would have to earn 247k more in order to compete with a white guy. there are a lot of obstacles for asian men in the dating scene. but the only way to fight that is improve which is pretty much what everyone in the video is suggesting. but i still think it is important to not dismiss the innate disadvantages that we have.

I think I can safely say all the guys in the room are attractive males. I only dated Native American and Mexican guys until my "white guy" of 8 years and we have two sons together. I even know some Natives who fall into the "Asian-looking" category (ancestors "had some fun with the railroad people in the 1800s" from what I hear) and get mistaken for Filipino in the bigger cities. Before I went to a smaller school, or maybe just less diverse, I remember this fine Filipino guy and he was confident. I also remember this Vietnamese guy who wasn't conventionally attractive, was attractive to me. I'd broaden my horizons if I wasn't committed.

It always perplexes me how in school how many Asians were in music & really good at it, but then you don't ever see them become famous with radio, concerts or music videos. Or how they play street basketball but they're not in the NBA. It's by design, society carves out those key areas for blacks so they can have something to inspire their people through music & sports. This is why the Simpsons have stereotypes of certain races, because it holds a mirror up to society. The Korean dry cleaners, Viet nail salon, the Indian cashier at KwikEMart, and all white movie stars, all reflect what we already know to be true. It's like we are living in a computer simulation & it goes against the program if there were to exist a straight Asian male porn star having sex with Hot white women.
