It's funny when they speak about "humanizing Michael" - He always seems like a very good person to me, a bit gruff on some subjects, but still very human- unlike Gavin, who I always get the feeling is a bit of a genuine prick every time the camera isn't running.

yeah, I think it's more along the lines of sincerity that comes off them. I mean Michael would seem absolutely livid with things sometimes but the way he reacts to most things off-the-cuff seems as though he genuinely cares about what had happen. not saying that Gavin doesn't care, but it's more so that Gavin never really seems.. sorry? about things I guess? like he just acts daft as all hell regularly on camera that it still resonates when he tries to be anything else.
@nickyisnotcool37959 жыл бұрын
+Video Sage For some reason I think Gavin cares a lot and is actually genuinely smart (or else we wouldn't have a popular KZbin channel OR have been promoted to Creative Director) but he has a different mindset than most people, and unfortunately that can throw people off and make them 'averse' in some cases to that person. It's kind of like Lady Gaga: you have some people that think she's brilliant and a hard worker and some people that are totally weirded out by her and think she's stupid. It's really just because she's not easy to pin down a lot of the time. Her methods and style aren't 'normal' and so people just avoid it. Same with Gavin. People love him, but their limited perspective on his life and the how's and why's of what he does is something that throws people off. Hence why you'll see so many people calling him dumb, or irrational, or insensitive, etc. It's people taking what they know about a person (or a character) and narrowing them down to things that make sense to THEM and not necessarily the actual person. Gavin could come out and tell everyone who he is, why he does the things he does, and his logic behind stuff and people would STILL misinterpret his actions. Anyways, I'm rambling, but as someone whose family grossly misinterprets my own personality and actions I can see where Gavin might be coming from in 'being a mincy little prick'. /Shrugs/

thank u for pointing that out just watched the original trilogy and that shit was fresh on my mind and I started yelling at my screen lol
@the_old_crimge749 жыл бұрын
I have to say this. the differences in the fighting and the force between the trilogies makes sense. in 1, 2, & 3 everyone knew what the force was and they were all skilled in it. in 4, 5, & 6 there were only stories, but people still knew and there were only 5 force users and Luke was not very trained. in 7 the force is only in legends now and No one knows how to use it or if it exists. and whether you like it or not and no matter how bad the prequels are a good part of the story if you understand it.

+That Gaming Channel THANK YOU. Gee, In the old movies every jedi but two were dead, I wonder why we're not seeing force powers everywhere. Lol.
@SuperScrubsfan9 жыл бұрын
+That Gaming Channel I agree, to an extent, they should be a bit more flashy and intense because they are trained, hooowever it went to far at times. In Ep 2 between Anakin and Dooku, you just see light go over their faces and was silly. I enjoy the fight in 3 but you have to admit at times in was just a little too much, swinging and spinning for no purpose etc. Yes it should be more acrobatic due to skill level but they just needed to tone it back. Phantom Menance was actually fine, it didnt feel overboard.
@HNGamingOfficial9 жыл бұрын
+That Gaming Channel Nope. The differences were not story driven, that's just something people do to try to make sense of it. The difference was plainly what they could and couldn't do. They weren't going to wire-fu alec guiness up back then, where as now we have many more options for effects. But, fanboys try to make some kind of sense of their capabilities by making excuses, when it was purely technical reasons.
@Snurglefluffs9 жыл бұрын
***** So you genuinely believe that Star wars would have Luke doing all sorts of Force powers and saber fighting if it was possible? The guy who'd lived in a giant desert for his entire life and had no idea what a Jedi was? Ok. So, let's toss you behind the yoke of a plane. Doesn't matter that you've never flown one. MAYBE we'll have some decrepit old guy tell you how to take off then have a heart attack right afterwards and you can sort the rest yourself. Don't make an excuse toward technical complications as to why you couldn't ;)

+The crazy guy #1 That actually makes me feel way better. I'm 23 right now, and I'm just wondering: when the fuck is the "awkward teenage phase" supposed to stop? Because I have more zits now than I did in high school.
@cyrkswl118 жыл бұрын
+silvertamagachi to be honest, i have no idea; especially since I didn't have that "awkward teenage phase" and didn't have any problems with zits when I was in mid/high school (I do occasionally get zits now though and it hasn't been long since I graduated from high school). But there are several ways to help solve it. For starters, keeping a nice sleep schedule helps. If i sleep really late at night I get a few zits on my face the next day. Try to sleep pretty early (10 or 11 pm is a good time). Try to sleep at least 5~7 hours a day. But if you have work that ends really late or you just can't sleep early enough, try to stay away from junk food and greasy food. Also, grease that your skin releases is a pretty major factor when it comes to facial problems so try to wash your face at least two or three times a day. You don't have to use facial cleansers or anything since that could also negatively affect you by triggering your skin to release more grease.

U guys really did not understand the lightsaber fights did you? The whole point was to capture the emotion between darth vader and luke, vader was taunting him. Remember how worked up he got? He started Whaling on Vader. No choreography like in the prequels, slicing off vaders arm forcing him into submision using RAGE and ANGER as fuel. It was the BEST and most Emotion filled lightsaber fight of all time because of stories going on outside of characters. 0/10 not enough unnecessary CGI Flippy Jumps -IGN
@goclbert9 жыл бұрын
They shat on all of the lightsaber fights in star wars, not just the original ones. The only lightsaber fight they even talked positively about was the one in empire as far as action goes. Sure there's emotion and meaning behind the fight in Jedi but the fact remains that a fight is a fight and the action should be entertaining. The best part of the fight is the part you were talking about where Luke pounds on Vader but the build up to that part was too long.

+goclbert Nah, Jack was talking specifically about the old trilogy and the only good fight we got in THOSE three movies was in empire Also I want to point out, those fights were coreographed by one of the most famous fight choreographers in the business(he did LotR among others). They were simple because that's what a fight is and you can notice different style between the stoic, slow Vader while Luke was the one doing more fancy shit(until he got angry and just started whaling on him). In the prequels it was just a mess of stunts and stupid movements. Watch (mostly) phantom menace or something like that on youtube, it shows it perfectly

+baklazan777 They as a group shat on the prequel fights. Maybe not Jack but Ryan and Michael certainly did.

I fucking hate how people say cats are stupid and arrogant and shit everywhere, yes they do, but believe it or not you can train cats to, maybe he won't jump around like a dog, but you can teach him to not shit everywhere.

+Savaria_HUN Well dogs have a large head start in comparison to cats; wolves live in packs in comparison to Cats that are loners by nature, also dogs have undergone a millennia of humans breeding them to function as pets.

@rickhunter2259 жыл бұрын
+Justin Ross so, you liked the tantrum throwing bad guy, who's only reason for being bad was to be bad? At least with Darth Vader his motivation was for his family.
@intothevoid32278 жыл бұрын
+Rick Hunter Kylo Ren is more of an interesting character than Darth Vader will ever be in the originals. he's a conflicted person unlike Vader who is a wooden/lifeless villain in the films who turns out to be Luke and Leia's father. the true garbage prequels don't count as Anakin being the failed character as he is acting wise and character wise.

I don't know why people think knowing something about a movie/game is RUINING it. Boo fucking hoo, you know a thing about a meaning piece of entertainment, your quality of life is SOOO drastically worse now.
@lifeiscrap1039 жыл бұрын
***** But when people make such a big deal about "spoilers"... like it affects their quality of lives and turn into little bitch babies, that's fucking stupid. The movie is still going to be good whether or not you know things.

btw: according to the silly Star Wars lore, the plasma produced by a lightsaber is enclosed by a forcefield, giving it the sword shape and preventing lightsaber blades from going through eachother. GG physics, though

I don't care if you guys are assholes or not, or if you are the nicest people in the world. You're all still my favorite people I could ever come across on KZbin and I wouldn't mind all of you fucking my room up. I wouldn't even mind cleaning after you guys, it's just the laugh and the fun that comes out of it makes it all worth while. It makes memories. You all are human beings and you can do what you want, it's not like you're all 5 year olds (well, you could act like it but in reality you're not).
