Listening to them talk about the polarizing effect on the internet resonates with me. I constantly see it happened on most of the channels I watch. Gavin will always be my favorite AH member, but that doesn't mean everyone else sucks. They might do dumb stuff every once in a while, but they all make every video they're in amazing. And that's why AH is my favorite channel to watch.

Swusi, but, this is a entertainment medium... Wouldn't funny be pretty much at the top of the list for criteria? And I will point out that the person your talking to at no point hated on him, just gave the reason why he (the viewer) dislikes Jack. I think that your taking it too much to heart, Swusi. Remember, the default setting for achievement hunter is mockery, has been from the get go, and because they give each other such a hard time, it's become okay for the fan base to do the same thing, which has led to the current state of the comment section. That is to say, half the people hate everyone, half love everyone and they all hate on whomever is the "idiot" of the video (if you haven't noticed... There's always one) So if it starts to bug you, remember, if they comeback every day to watch the video and then spew some vitriol into the comment section, they contribute to the view counts and are supporting the channel the same as those of us who don't take big steaming dumps on the content. That is to say, we're all fans, some are just nicer than others. Be happy that you are among the nicer side of the community, I certainly appreciate it.
