Off-White Jordan 1 UNC Extreme Cleaning Challenge presented by StockX

Stock X sent us some Off-White Air Jordan 1 UNC for this extream sneaker cleaning challenge. Off-White x Nike/Jordan what more needs to be said about this collaboration that hasn't already been said? The Ten Collection by Virgil Abloh was a game changer. Nike gave ten shoes to the Off-White Founder to do whatever he wanted. Nike has never given that much power and freedom to an outside person before. This UNC Jordan 1, while not part of the original The Ten Collection, still holds that same design aesthetic and appreciation from collectors. With that being said it was painful for us to take this deadstock pair of UNC Off-White 1's and trash them the way we did. In fairness, it was all done in the name of science. Proving that a shoe most thought could not be cleaned, can, in fact, be brought back to life and near deadstock condition. We did this by using the power of Reshoevn8r's Ultimate Kit. That foam on the off whites are a mistake in shoe design. Theres a reason no one else puts exposed foam on a sneaker. 2 scrubbing cycles and 2 washing machine cycles and a final finishing clean from the inside with small hands.........and it still looks a little dirty. I also question how much damage is done to the shoe in terms of the glue, rubber, stitching and everything else being put through the washing machine twice.
