Good Point, but one O-Lineman can anchor the whole line and allow to perform doubleteams and other tricks. Like one shutdown CB enables the other DBs and LBs to react with more freedom on the coverage. But an elite OL can’t compensate an overall bad line, an elite DL can (maybe, depending on the OL) achive what the other DLs can’t.

Trash o-line immediately translates to worse run and passes overall but a elite edge rusher is something that can significantly help the others with how much attention they demand

D-line can be very good at run defense linebackers can get a lot of credit for that but if you have a trash d-line they can run the ball right at you and there’s nothing the linebackers can do

interior defensive lineman are very underrated because they dont get a lot of sacks, or even tackles, but they demand attention and double teams and will ruin your game if you dont give them extra attention
