@@bambaraboxing Thankyou that was very helpful. So is it safe to say that not only can you move your feet to switch lanes like you are showing in this video but you can switch what lane you are in by moving your body like in roll video where you would start in the centerline than you attack in another lane like cross/jab lane with the Duran counter?

Great video again, I love these videos, they help me a lot in conceptualizing, what I should practice and pay attention to. I have one question: why are the 5 and 6 safer in the center lane, than the 3 and 4? I took the advice to not "hook on the line" to heart and I do get hit less as a result :) but I am equally scared to throw uppercuts from the center (I feel vulnerable from the side). What makes uppercuts a safer option up close in the center lane?
@bambaraboxing3 ай бұрын
@@kecskemetib thank you for the kind words. Uppercuts are more likely to land between an opponents guard, they also pair well with ducking, allowing you to stand with a punch, or work the body. 👍 good question, glad the system is improving your boxing 👊

Thanks coach great video. Quick question, you talk here about the rear uppercut from the closed lane exposing your centre line. I recently watched your video about easier angles and there you show using the rear uppercut on the second beat as your clear the lane and take the angle. Is it the additional angle that makes the shot safer to throw? Thanks again!
@bambaraboxing3 ай бұрын
Yes ! Once I take the short open angle, my opps head is now in my cross or center lane! So it's safer to throw. Good job comparing videos, I hope everyone is doing it!

I love the clear explanation of lane theory And I love this video I like things structured, with a « restricted » system like this in mind, we know what to do, and we know why we should do it I think people know by now, that in any endeavour in life, you progress (roughly) by making mistakes and then fixing them But they fail to realise (for most intuitive learner vs analytical learner) that the only way to speed this process up is to actually be able to identify a mistake, and identify WHY it was a mistake, so you know what you should fix and it’s easier to think about why something didn’t work By sticking to this system it makes any post fight or sparring analysis clear for any mistakes that might pop, because we were doing things INTENTIONALLY You asked what we viewers want from you in those coaching video They are 2 aspects of boxing that I love, which made me quit MMA and Muay Thai for Boxing, and they are overall defense, and strategic way to attack a bigger/longer reach opponent when they just want you at bay So anything on those 2 topics are always greatly appreciated
