You are the one who fills the missing gap in all boxing channels on KZbin, there are channels that talk about technical proficiency, some focus on workout and cardio , some are more focused on beginners and basic boxing but you talk about the CONCEPTS!! Something that can be hard to grasp, but you explain it in a way that is very structured and simplified, thanks for your content♥️!

Awesome video!!! Thank you so much coach. Loved learning about being a better out fighter. Can you please make 2 more videos and make this a series where you do the same type of breakdown for punchers and pressure fighters. Would be really helpful to fully understand the best tactics and strategies to be able utilise and defeat each archetype. Also good to see where each type fits in the outside, mid and inside ranges. ❤

Coach your knowledge and teaching skills are outstanding. Do you have short camps for older students with limited time like 3-5 days that give an overall review of boxing skills? I have been following boxing for 20 years with some lessons here and there.

things that helped me a lot as an outside fighter were, :check hooks when they pressure and pivoting with or after the hook. :not committing to the jab too much, the moment i move in with the jab and put my head in danger, i get timed by that overhand right. So i keep my weight on the backfoot and let them land on my jab instead of reaching to hit them. : with my long guard i often touch or put pressure on one arm, which allows me to feel their intentions, cuts down the ability of one of their arms and gage the range. After that i try and cause collisions(punching exactly when they come in)

Coach what do you think of the mk1 boxing gloves? I see that the blue gloves are that brand, have you tried them? Great vid 🙏
@bambaraboxing4 күн бұрын
@kaxerrr yes I just bought a pair a few months ago. I've only used them on my left hand, but i really like them. The hand compartment is like a winning, the wrist it like a cleto. The padding is a short springy stack ! Good gloves, hope they last
@YouCouldBeКүн бұрын
@kaxerrr Those are my blue gloves! I love them- great thumb position and the weight sits further back on the wrist, so the gloves feel lighter than they are. Really gaining popularity among my teammates :)

Hold up. Against a savvy opponent cutting off the ring you're saying don't use lanes and angles? Instead I should do "something clever" out of the corner? That's the mentality I had when I first found this channel. We've come full circle 😂
@bambaraboxing4 күн бұрын
@aboulding could you show me where is say that? You're certainly always using lanes and angles. You use angles to exit the corner (with a modifier like defense, punch, clinch, etc) . Feinting to exit the corner is pairing a lane with the opposite angle. Baiting a punch to counter or defend requires knowing what punch to bait and how to bait it.
@bambaraboxing4 күн бұрын
@aboulding ahhh i see. What i meant was dont constantly take angles in the center of the ring, then you're not using the ground at your back (if you intend to outfight) . Kite them to the corner and then take the angle to leave them in a bad position and refresh the ground at your back. That way you will only need to take 5 or 6 angles a round, instead of 100. Hope that helps
@paparadeliko2 күн бұрын
Very smart and energy efficient. I usually switch stances a lot and fuck around with my footwork like dominic cruz, but while it keeps me relatively safe, i can't counter as hard because i am not planted and i get tired after 3 rounds
