Elisabeth’s teachings will go on throughout history like Oswald Chambers, CS Lewis, Andrew Murray, etc. I heard her 15 minute radio program “Gateway to Joy” 30 years ago. I wish I knew then how profound was every word she spoke. I know it now and I am ingesting and marinating in her words. Thank you Father for bringing me to her.

Elizabeth minimizes her own suffering quite often, but it’s obvious that she has suffered a fair share because she seems to understand the depths of suffering and is able to communicate about suffering to those of us who are suffering severely for decades. These sermons on suffering are incredibly powerful.

The only way to change for the spiritual betterment is to let God change us. Most of the time it entails suffering to the degree of some type of pain. For me it has to make an indelible mark in my soul of upturning that requires pain to see the truth to let go and change for the better. I Always get closer to the Lord thru this process. After the pain lets up I'm different for the better.I'm a better person inside and my walk is different. God does not let me waste a life lesson. NOTHING IS BY COINCIDENCE!!!!

My flesh hates the fact that I'm compelled to look in the mirror. Reminds me of John Calvin and how the bible itself is a mirror. I'm chauvinistic when it comes to women teaching. It may have to do with the Prosperity gospel I once embraced. Those women (and men) really turned me off. BUT GOD... may God in His time fix this unprofitable servant. Thank you for the video that God has used to point that mirror right at me.

Per 1 Timothy 2:11-15 she SHOULD NOT be teaching men. It's not chauvinistic. It's Scriptural. She can teach other women and children. That's Scriptural too. Please keep in mind this is in no way an attack on her experiences and the content of her teaching...just the execution and the fact Ligonier posted the video. It makes me question the soundness of their foundation.

There's a lot of things he said I agree with but to say John MacArthur versus Jesus I just saw John MacArthur on TV talking about how Jesus Christ is Lord and we are redeemed only by his blood. I didn't see any enmity between him and Christ. Are you saying John MacArthur is going to hell?
