I bought a M82C earlier today. So the idea of the lever is Lock/Unlock. I had the same issue when I got it, now what i did is i unscrewed the lever and adjusted the nut on the cable. It works perfectly now. You just have to find the right placement. When its working right you should hear an audible click close to a mouseclick.

@@WoahNova After 6months i gave it to my brother. I prefer a gaming chair for the ergonomic style where you can adjust it to however you want it. This chair has 3 adjustments for comfort. If you are tall you wont enjoy it.

This is not the best chair ever, but for the price it is good (at least an update for me). Second, I correct the recline with a cushion (worst part about the product but can be corrected) Last... I shortly considered sending the product back because It did not lock... and then I found that it requires to pull the lever a second time: incline, pull and hold and incline until your blocked in your position, release (do not move) , pull again (strongly enough) and release. It is now locked... quite complex but it works. To release, lean forward, pull/release the lever, lean back until your hear the tilt. It is now unlocked (I have to try it twice sometimes)... Thank you for the review. it helped, and it save me the trouble to send it back.

How do you like the chair so far? In a lot of reviews they descibe the locked position as beeing to laid back for, both for back support but also when using it to work from. What are your takes on this? Thanks in advance.

I agree with the other reviewers, the first locked position is abit laid back to be used for working all day on the computer. I would have preferred it to be more straight and also the lumbar to be less pronounced. I used a cushion between me and the chair to probe me forward. hope this helps.

I’ve owned this chair and returned it for that exact reason, it’s too laid back for working from home. When I was pressed against my desk I was still reclined back. Other than that it’s relatively good quality compared to similar chairs in the price range. I went for a used Herman Miller Aeron before the prices went up due to COVID.

@@enzio5486 Yeah, Herman Miller chairs really does seem to be a great choice if you have the money. Most people say the Aeron last for about 20 years, so in time it must be a pretty good investment for your home office.

Yes the adjustment of the back is rather strange, you cant keep it in the position, it just pops back if you release pressure on the back

I’m thinking of buying one, and I’ve been doing research and never heard that they break easily. Only bad thing is that the arm rests can’t be locked in place and the seat can become uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time, probably the people you heard it from are tall and weigh a lot.

Is there anything like this but with arms that can move out of the way? When I can eventually build my home studio, I need a chair that will be safe and comfortable for long Mixing sessions. However the arms need to be able to move out of the way for when I'm Tracking a Guitar or Bass part, so I can sit comfortably and stably while recording or practicing.
