The second I saw this video and thumbnail, I knew what was coming. I thought Office was just "okay" when I tried it, but I knew what Jeremy and the brand was trying to do. Keep in mind, though, how much Jeremy was a trendsetter in this community with his videos and creating his own brand. He really set the tone that a lot of people follow even today versus you and a few others being on YT for years and not so much hype and movement happening. So much has been commercialized nowadays and it gets to be a bit much. Anyways, with all of the Aventus / Sauvage / BDC type hype, my go to and recommendation has always been Cedrat Boise from Mancera. Great brand, great scent, great longevity for not a lot of sprays, and lots of fragrance (120 ml). Finding a discounter selling it you can get it for around $70-80 and get a TON of use out of it AND you may smell better than an Aventus because there is a bit more quality to the scent, in my view at least.
@robes085 ай бұрын
Cedrat would be a great choice instead of this. Great choice.

@@robes08 -- I've been around this community and have tried so much stuff over the years that I've been like you and get tired of a lot of the samey smelling stuff. That's why I have come to love stuff like Tyger Tyger from Francesca Bianchi or Corpse Reviver from FZOTIC / Bruno Fazzolari. Just stellar niche-indie quality scents that you won't see in any mainstream shop and so amazingly unique. All the hype train frags fall flat for me except for maybe a decent one every now and then, but I'm largely not impressed by anything in that realm anymore.

Just to continue the dialog, I agree with everything you say about this fragrance. However, I think Jeremy would agree with everything you said, too. Jeremy introduced this fragrance as a better performing F-boy (my words), mass appealing fragrance that smells just as good if not better than your popular designer fragrances. He made it for the young F-boy that clubs often, has the starter corporate job but wants to promote up the corporate ladder. I think his promise that the wearer won't smell like anyone one else in the room, all day or night, but get tons of compliments,; coupled with Jeremy's popularity with that demograpbic, is what determined his price point. Anyway, I love your videos and integrity. Keep up the good work.

The owner, who apparently was used to his visits, was not impressed. If other customers noticed him-there were a number in the shop-paid him no heed. He left about 20 minutes later. I remember that when this perfume was launched, Jeremy tried to sell it as a luxury product because the nose behind it was Alberto Morillas. As if Morillas was a guy who only made luxury fragrances. 🤣 There is no shortage of very cheap fragrances in the Morillas portfolio. I'm not saying this is a problem, but the fact that you have a famous name behind your product doesn't make it worth more than 200 dollars.

I personally like this sent. If you haven’t smelled it, it’s smells exactly like dior sauvage edt (at least to me). It’s powerful and long lasting but definitely not worth the price. If get it on the used market is a different story. Retail prices are ridiculous, no question about it. Presentation looks like someone made it garage in eastern Europe. With that said I personally like the sent but I got mine on a deal and from a fellow fragrance collector. It all depends on the price with this one. Also if you like sauvage edt, you would like this one as well.

Dior Sauvage … run! 🏃
@traveller480175 ай бұрын
I know it's close, but I've had decants of Dior Sauvage and Dylan Blue and those two was just way of to my nose. I would describe them as more aggressive (peppercorn, ambroxan). Office for Men, also has some of that aggressiveness IMO, but I think the citrus aspect maybe tones it down a bit. Yes, the presentation is ####. When I saw it/bought it second-hand (think mine is the 2nd or 3rd batch), I honestly liked it a bit - as I viewed it as a "small start-up test run" and thought he would change it after the first 2-3 batches. But no... It was/is a money grab (High price and low quality presentation), not to forget the all white (tester like) cardboard box it came in.

I wouldn't mind smelling Eugene's scents or Dan's (smelly77) samples, but wouldn't pay niche prices for anything unless it's high quality ingredients and a complex unique scent. I don't care about packaging or about performance. I only care about the juice and how it smells on MY skin. If it's weak but I love the scent, I'll respray it during the day. I do have weak niche expensive fragrances that I absolutely love, and respray a few times a day (such as TF NPF, Byredo's Accord Oud and more). At the end of the day, it's all about the smell !! Now I understand why this fragrance it's so hated in fragrance community. I had no idea that this one whas FREAKING 240 bucks! For that money I can get a Xerjoff, an Amouage, an Electimuss, not this fraud of a product.

It is ridiculous to begin with that it is normal that fragrances cost above 240 or nowadays 300. As Robes said, the profit, and greed, is real. FOMO plays a big part in raising the prices, because why would you not buy the newest hit especially when all the influencers are telling you it is a must have.

Influencers now think they can separate you from your money easily and at 200 per bottle or more I don't know why people fall for these traps. I haven't smelled one influencer branded scent that imo would be worth more than 100 per bottle.

@@robes08 - Even though I don’t own “Office” or have any plans to buy it, I still felt the sting after this review. I know you gave an objective take, but you objectively stomped on this fragrance and I think it’s going to leave a mark! LOL

Did you feel your sins wash away while wearing this? Jeremy is the #1 fragrance reviewer who follows the teachings of Jesus, so this is basically holy water, right? LOL!

I felt no such way, I felt unwashed... lol

Its not a bad fragrance but come on $ 249 for a mediocre fragrance that you cant smell in stores and you can't get samples ( i guess if he gives samples that almost nobody wants to buy it for $249) You need to blind buy it based on the pretentious arguments from a used car sales man in a white suit with a golden Rolex. Maybe his new fragrance Douchebag for Men EDP is a better fragrance.

I blind buy my fair share of 250+ scents but this is a hard pass, I would of never smelled it to be honest.

The first release of this shit was even without a cap 😂 That bozo is nothing but a rip-off. I remember when he launched a Patreon page and asked followers to support him ( support him in what?!!!)then after few months he bought a red ferrari 😂😂😂

To this day idk if this trash or a DUA is the worst fragrance I've ever come across. How this was released as a "fragrance" is beyond me. What a despicable money grab. After this Jeremy fell out of existence to me. He was never anyone I took serious after all. He's not even on a list of anyone I would consider for a opinion on a fragrance
