Office Shepherd Hut Build - Doors, windows, wrap.

Continuing the Harrogate Hut build, we're onto windows and doors with a bit of wrapwork.
We're currently recovering from covid so progress past this point has basically stopped, so i'd expect the next video to be a bit delayed.
Now its inside - capturing it on camera is becoming challenging for the timelapse, so we may see some slightly different camera work next time.

Day 1 has gone ok, thanks for the tip about the cables holes. I didn’t start the fame until 7pm because I was osb boarding my frame and fixing a dpc. The full frame is up, but there’s a few pieces left to put in but I had to call it a day due to the noise at 9pm. I’ve had the opposite of you weather wise, it was too hot today in the sun to work today.

@@Extragonk Hi yes putting it up myself. The Frame is up and I'm on with boarding the sides today.

@@antonydyson8550 oh one thing I discovered fitting the locks on the doors, i’m not convinced the door needs the hinges rebated, probably worth checking before you did what I did and happily rebated them and now have a big gap :/

@@Extragonk hopefully getting second hand upvc french doors. Going to use some special paint to paint them a nice green cover. I've never uploaded to KZbin but I'll see if I can post some pictures for you.

What thickness is the OSB you are using? Great progress

the chassis had 18mm osb, the walls and internal floor on the frame wa 9mm, if i was doing it again i'd put 18mm all round to increase the thermal mass

How much did the whole kit cost??

i cover this in a later vid, but the frame, 4 windows, roof panels, internal cladding and double door rolled in at about 4700 all in, thye do have a good price builder on their website. these costs are 2022.
