Since you didn't tell them, I'll try (not a big user but sometimes . . . ). There are several apps such as Venmo and Cash App whereby you can send cash to other people using their phone number usually (like a text message). Most people use it for things like if they owe a friend money because they bought you something at a store or because you split the tab at a restaurant but didn't have the cash with you. The money you send comes from a bank account or credit card. Now somebody's going to tell me I've got it all wrong . . . .

Over here in the states, you see a lot of KZbinrs who are reacting to songs, and they will say if you want your song played or a better chance of having your song played, you can donate a certain amount of money or they’ll say buy me a coffee, which basically they’re sending cash.
