"Please stop man!! I don't wanna go to jail!! I can't go to jail!!" Well, don't be trying to steal televisions, and the police won't take you to jail for it. It's like saying, "I'm gonna steal some stuff, but don't punish me for doing it."

An illegal gambling room is a room where illegal card games and other illegal gambling take place for the public. You can gamble in your own home with friends but the minute the game become open to the general public is becomes an illegal gambling room.

There are sentencing guidelines that judges follow, so that's why it'll say "up to 10 years" that guy who stole the TV won't get 10 years, but the guy who did armed robbery on multiple people probably will get closer to 10 years

"WHY WOULD YOU HELP A COP?" You could help save a life. I hesitated to put this out there, but its something to think about or talk about with family or friends > I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL, but I have seen this type of civilian/bystander assistance help *SOLO* or *OVERPOWERED* officers. Just putting this out there: If you see that a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) could use URGENT assistance and *you are willing to PHYSICALLY help*, AND the scene is safe from hazards and/or deadly threat, clearly/loudly offer your help to the LEO verbally and make sure you are acknowledged first (LEO says Yes or No) before going hands-on *provided the LEO CAN verbally respond* (i.e not being choked or fighting for their life ++). If the LEO says YES but no specific direction is given, go for the legs so the LEO can gain control of hands/arms >>> if/once the person is on the ground face-down, cross their ankles and bend their feet up to their bum (you can see in the video the backup LEO does this at 17:31 & 17:46), applying your full-body pressure to keep them from squirming/kicking/flipping over (keep your head off to the side and away from suspect's feet). If the person is face-up, put as much pressure as you can directly on their knees (keeping your head away from hands/fists) and give the LEO as much space as possible. If the LEO needs assistance getting handcuffs on, you can help to hold suspect's arm(s) against their back while the LEO gets control of the other arm and secures handcuffs. Release your hold as soon as the LEO confirms the suspect is under control/cuffed, or backup arrives. *If you are not willing to PHYSICALLY help*, OR there are more than one suspects, the suspect has a weapon, the suspect is attempting to gain/has control of the LEO's firearm/taser, or is attempting to or is actively harming the LEO, stay in/at a safe location until assistance arrives. >> Immediately call 911 {999} and let them know the exact location, officer's situation (and patrol car #, if possible, if you don't know their name or call-sign), and the suspect's description & clothing (and type of weapon, if any). If the LEO & suspect move from the reported scene, note the mode ( ex. running on foot/ driving away) and give the vehicle description (bicycle / motorcycle / car make, model & license plate #, etc.) and direction, and provide this info to 911/responding LEO units on scene. Again, I'm not a professional, but I am a veteran and I do keep these things in the back of my mind. This is also under the assumption that you are not specifically trained in hand-to-hand techniques. Your actions are entirely voluntary, but you would be in essence, the LEO's unofficial backup & a good samaritan. These are just general suggestions that could save a life/lives of the LEO, the suspect, & any innocent bystanders (by avoiding the use of deadly force)...food for thought. Worst case scenario, if nothing else, you can provide medical aid++ to an injured LEO once the scene is secure and safe, and/or call 911 {999}. If you don't know how to give CPR or wound care, etc., the 911 operator will guide you through it step-by-step until help arrives. Calling 911 also provides a record & timeline of the events and of your actions to help++. ++ Check the Good Samaritan Law specifics for your state (USA). "The Good Samaritan Law is a legal principle that protects people who provide Reasonable Assistance to those who are injured or in danger during an emergency [IN PERIL]. The law's purpose is to encourage people to help others without fear of being sued for UNINTENTIONAL harm." (Google)

12:19 - I love that officers accent! Is that a Jamaican accent I wonder? That's not one you often hear in US police video clips, so it makes a nice change :) 14:35 - I've seen other bodycam footage of officers pulling drivers and passengers out of burning cars, some of them even on fire on the inside with occupants suffering burns even as they're rescued. It always amazes me how willing officers are to put their own lives and health on the line to get people out of burning cars and even buildings - dealing with fire is absolutely terrifying and every part of you is screaming at you to just get away from it and save yourself. So for them to ignore that instinct and get people out is SO admirable! I'm glad they often get recognized for their efforts, and I hope that never stops because it really is an amazingly brave thing they do for us!! 18:40 - I'm not surprised that suspect is rather taken by that female officer - she IS rather pretty (actually a surprising number of female officers are rather pretty, no idea why that is) and the fact she just body slammed him to the ground almost effortlessly is rather impressive. I'd be rather surprised and attracted to her myself if that happened to me lol

@@Cassxowary The few bad officers out there (which I am absolutely aware of) shouldn't override the good ones that actually DO serve their areas properly and DO absolutely save lives. Just because some ruin it doesn't mean we shouldn't admire and share the stories of the GOOD ones. Tarring everyone with the same brush is never the answer and doesn't help anything. Also, I'm aware it might be personal bias when it comes to "pretty" police officers and nurses, but to me I've yet to see one who I considered to be "ugly".

Kinda. Smaller city or town cops may not worry about exchanging questions if a guy or two help stop a running perp, or assist with the arrest. It just depends on everything: state laws, city or town rules from the precinct, and the individual cop.
