Guys if a full grown football player, who lift weights and in perfect shape hits you even with a helmet on,will hurt you. Even if a regular person hits you, you will feel it. Get your hand on a football helmet, put it on, and let someone hit you,then tell me it doesn't hurt

So true. i played in high school and my whole body was covered in bruises after games as a full-back. You don't feel it much during the game, but you sure do after

its also a respect thing... and yeah could definitely hurt your neck

It hurts their hands more than the person getting hit💀 people break their hands punching without a helmet and they want to punch a helmet
@SHOTBYPAT_9 ай бұрын
That shit hurt getting hit on the helmet.
@gregorywilliams13089 ай бұрын
Yeah, I think they think the helmet is armor.
@brianstacey26799 ай бұрын
Punching the helmet is just a reflex action. You're all worked up and mad and want to fight, and the natural thing is to throw a punch. You forget the helmet is there.
@jellybegger9 ай бұрын
trust me you’ll feel it too
@lilJJslayer9 ай бұрын
It's just the heat of the moment they don't care. If they break their hands-on the other guy's helmet, they're just ready to go.

You should see the amount of fines these players end up paying. Even something that wasnt called during the game there are people who review each game and after the season ends you get a package showing how much you owe in fines

The game you were thinking about with people swinging the helmet was the Steelers vs the Browns. Myles Garrett swung Mason Rudolph's helmet at him and caught him in the head.
@bmorg51909 ай бұрын
Daz overthinking again.. punching someone in the helmet isn’t a gesture.. 🤦♂️🤷♂️ it’s called being a really, really really mad that’s literally it.. when you’re that mad, you don’t care. I played hockey my entire life and most people don’t care what they hit when they are that infuriated.

at the end of video it was MYLES Garret and MASON Rudolph. BROWNS vs STEELERs intense rivalary.

Good to hear john maddens. Voice he was the best. I loved that guy my wife hated his voice. It would drive her crazy so she always went shopping until after game and return home. Lol

3:16 Lattimore has taken up permanent residence in Evans’ head. The sad thing is Lattimore was penalized there too despite only defending himself.

Back in the 70s and 80s, when the Dallas Cowboys were "America's Team", the Steelers and the Redskins were bitter rivals of the Cowboys. It was deeply intense.

You're thinking of Courtland Finnegan. He was a cheap shot artist and big mouth.
@jimbojones71639 ай бұрын
This is a little glimpse into the start of some of those big cheap shots you see. Teams start to chirp back and forth at each other. One team hits someone harder than usual. Then the other team retaliates with a cheap shot that will send someone to the hospital.

Punching a helmet doesn't really hurt your hand because of adrenaline.

Most of these is a cornerback shutting down a wide receiver and talking shit to him until he snaps. The best ones just stand there and take a beating happily knowing the other team is going to pay a big price.

In the "old days" 50-60`s defensive players would slap offensive players right over their ear holes.... got so bad they made it illegal.

As a person that has punched and been punched with helmets and heads. Strangely enough i broke my hand punching a skull not a helmet.... but getting punched with a helmet to me anyways is worse than getting punched in the face. The face i absorb it and yeah it hurts but just that part hurts. Getting punched with a helmet your whole head is ringing bc the helmet disperses the energy through the whole head and your ears start ringing... just my opinion but it's worse with a helmet.

I would say Raiders probably have the longest hatred from their non fan base/ other teams. in the 70'80's they made a reputation to be a hard hitting, break the rules type team, that is still with them today. I really thought that a play from three years ago, steeler at browns, helmet pulled off QB, then hit on head with his own helmet.. bench clearing roucous.
@jameswilson7790Ай бұрын
All three of their divisional rivals, as well as the Steelers, Dolphins, Cowboys, and 49ers have been archnemeses of the Raiders.

That’s entirely out of context. These are just athletes with their tempers and testosterone running rampant. You may need to rewatch that bit to understand what he was saying.
