I agree with others that Conan’s Germany trip videos are great, but start with the video where he first says to Flula (the German guy) that he could come over to Germany! It’s one of my favorite bits of Conan’s guests ever! Flula is hilarious! The full name of the clip is: “Flula Borg plans Conan’s trip to Germany”

BUT it’s further away from Japan than Korea is so idk why they’d consider it a part of “Southern Japan” when it’s an island that they used to send prisoners to before it was fully adapted into their territory. I would think the island chain would be classified as its own thing and not “Southern Japanese”. Wasn’t trying to step on any Okinawa toes lmao.

My family honor dictates that I act like a dick and declare Kyoto is the home of Kaiseki and the best, everywhere else is subpar. With that out the way kaiseki is overrated and boring to me. Plenty of other great food in Japan.
