There was supposed to be a third verse, but Nate just told everyone to leave the studio, but leave the microphones on. The last part wasn’t planned, he was just talking about how he felt in the moment.

I love NF. I'm from the US (pray for us) and no one knows him. His emotion, his passion, his honesty set him apart. It's like when someone giving a speech the top rule is have something to say. When NF sings/raps he has something to say. He's saved a lot of lives. He has fans writing him all the time saying I was going to kill myself because I thought no one was like me. With mental illness so purvasive it's great that he talks about hard things so we don't feel alone. Great job.

During recording he had an emotional Break down and had the studio cleared out so he could talk through it. Someone left the mic recording. That is what you hear at the end plus the crying mixed throughout the song.

NF is a crazy amazing artist. Most people even in the states don't know who he is. They may recognize one or two songs. But not many go on the journey through his music. During production of this song. He asked everyone to step out of the booth so he could be completely honest with talking to his mom at the end of the song. He's a true artist who deserves way more exposure.

The last part, where he talks, he threw everyone out the studio and told Tommy Profit ( his producer) to let the track play and he recorded the last part alone actually crying, and then Tommy cutted the who venting process into the few lines you hear at the end. This is how difficult this song was for him to make. "Crying my eyes at the studio was difficult" ... I would honestly recommand you guys to start from his Manson Album and work through the songs, because it >>IS

God I wish it was as easy as saying no...But when the right combo of untreated childhood neglect/trauma becomes a toxic core belief system which then turns into self destructive thoughts and behavior patterns learned/modeled btw it’s really not so hard to escape with drugs or alcohol. So glad Nate didn’t go down that path...
@sortaamy30033 жыл бұрын
Seeing that can also make the kid go the opposite way. Perhaps not as often, but it can. It very much did so for me because I knew exactly what my life would be like, what my kids would endure if I ever went down that road. It made it very easy for me to say no to those around me pushing drugs of various kinds. As I said, that doesn't happen as often as simply repeating the cycle does, but I'm guessing seeing these things with his mom pushed him to do the opposite of her because he knew what he didn't want to end up like.
