I love this song for so many reasons. The story he shows of him having to go through these jobs and trying to work towards his dream to show that you should never give up is great. Even when he is performing in front of 2 people he gives it his full energy and passion, then it transitions to him finally making it. Just beautifully done.

I’d say it’s ok to pause several times throughout the song. Just make sure to rewind like 10 seconds or so to catch the whole song. Most reaction fans expect it and want to hear your input as it goes. Oh, and if you haven’t yet, try Joyner Lucas. He just dropped some new music and his old stuff is fire as well.

Oh shit! Thanks for taking my request/suggestion! I think you'll like Nate. He has 4 albums and we are waiting for his 5th. The Search is off his 4th Album and the Paid My Dues is the latest single he released in response to a negative review about his last album. Nate raps about his life, stuggles, mental health, and just real shit. Hence his Slogan "Real" He is a Christian that is a Rapper. NOT a christian rapper. He doesnt swear in his lyrics, but most of his fans dont care about that or if he did swear. He connects with them on a pretty deep level through his music, and the industry hates him, because he doesn't fit the mold. but he kills it anyways because he's a fucking genius and authentic. Below is my suggestions on songs to listen too. There may be others that have a better list, but these are the highlights from each album in order. I would still check out "When I Grow Up" and "Leave Me Alone" first, before going on the "NF Journey." Gives you a picture of where he is now. Lot of content, but my suggestion is do one a week. NF fans are pretty rabid for content, since Nate isnt big on social media. 1st Album: Mansion (2015) Intro Mansion (feat. Fleurie) (Sad) Motivated Notepad 2nd Album: Therapy Session (2016) Intro 2 Therapy Session (Sad) How Could You Leave Us (Sad) Real Grindin’ Statement Lost In the Moment (Sad) Warm Up - Single (2016) 3rd Album: Perception (2017) Intro III Outcast Green Lights Let You Down (Sad) Destiny Remember This Know One Hundred Outro No Name - Single (2018) 4th Album: The Search (2019) The Search Leave Me Alone Change My Stress Nate Time Returns When I Grow Up No Excuses Options WHY Paid My Dues - Single (2019)

Imho if you're at all interested in understanding who he really is I highly suggest "How Could You Leave Us", "Mansion" and "Therapy Session" in that order. He truly is an honest artist with a heart-wrenching history.

You should take the journey! NF is an amazing artist. His songs intertwine to paint a picture for you. We call this The NF Journey. Put on your seatbelt if you're brave enough to take the ride. From @struglas on KZbin; “The Journey” is a real thing and once on it you cannot really stop. By the end you develop an intense respect and love for what NF makes. But if I close my eyes I see NF leading us along the path by the wrist. Occasionally, it’s almost too much to handle. You want to stop... NF keeps pulling. As you try to get up you stumble... NF keeps pulling. Without shoes and through the worn-out knees of your jeans you notice the scrapes. On the tops of your feet and the caps of your knees. Painful. It’s from the ground. The sea of mud NF has had to trudge through to get where he resides today has become sun-dried and cracked. When you stop to take a breather... NF keeps pulling. If he stops, he’ll quit growing. Never one of the “Options”... You willingly began this journey, so you “Search” for your feet, ignore the dust and blood and stay committed to the path. “Why”? Because you know the pain he’s pulling you through will be worth the next banger you’re about to hear. That’s the pay off. That’s the intense respect. That’s the love. It “Only” takes “Time”... ***NOTE*** Always watch NF videos until the very end, or you may miss something! The list in order on KZbin; kzbin.info/aero/PLi7T8oe9XTaVbhXqWDFododrMUDXorSiT&feature=share On Google Drive: docs.google.com/document/d/1UeAmSddlaZmCMOoGmgXgxwupf31srIiCasYArbrb1VA/edit?usp=drivesdk The NF Journey 🎤 audio only 📽️ music video NF Mansion 2015 *📽️Intro❓ *🎤Mansion❓ *📽️All I Have❓ *📽️Wake Up❓ *📽️Notepad❓ *🎤Paralyzed❓ No Album 2015 *📽️Warm Up❓ Marty ft NF 2016 *🎤The One With My Friends❓ NF Therapy Session 2016 *📽️Intro II❓ *📽️Therapy Session❓ *📽️I Just Wanna Know❓ *📽️How Could You Leave Us❓ *📽️Real❓ *📽️Grindin'❓ *🎤Statement❓ Futuristic ft NF 2017 *📽️Epiphany❓ NF Perception 2017 *📽️Outro ❓ *🎤Intro III❓ *📽️Let You Down❓ *📽️Outcast❓ *📽️Green Lights❓ *📽️If You Want Love❓ *📽️Remember This❓ NF No Album 2018 *📽️No Name❓ NF The Search 2019 I think you should do EVERY song on this album in the order I posted below. NF released a snippet of a song and I said that it would probably never see the light of day. A fan did a cover of the song and posted it on KZbin kzbin.info/www/bejne/oX7UfH94iLZ4r7M NF heard the cover, contacted her and completed the song. No Album 2020 *🎤 Chasing (Demo) w/ Mikayla Sippel❓ If you haven't already, here are some others you should check out; MGK, Token, Hopsin, Dax, Doobie, Merkules, Skitz Kraven, Snow Tha Product, iamtherealak, Tom Macdonald, Witt Lowry, Mesus, Burden, Ekoh This list was originally written by me, Tina Leigh.
