Yeah ... there is a separation here - (1) the whole incident itself- whihc is what was wrong to begin with ... and (2) This cop; Hankison; might have followed Steps 1-8 of how to proceed with a raid correctly - but that does not change the fact that he followed procedure for a situation that never should have occurred. Harkison is arguing that the means were justified despite the end result and that is simply not the case here.
