Look man, I’ve been involved in law enforcement in some capacity, for over two decades. It’s an inherently dangerous profession; we all know the risks going in. How many times in one press conference, do people need to be reminded that law enforcement professionals put their lives at risks, every single day? I’m a sheep dog. My job is to protect the sheep from the wolves. It’s risky, but that’s what I choose to do. I don’t need a medal or looked upon with adulation, unless it’s truly warranted for a specific act. Enough already.
