Watching this made me laugh but it also pissed me off at the same time. The problem is that the military takes serious relationships and turns them into parodies in real-time. You'll come home from deployment and find out your wife has locked you out of your own home and is sleeping with some guy in your bed. When you confront her about it, she'll take out a restraining order and file for divorce. Once she has taken half your money and caused you to lose most of your friends after convincing everyone of what a terrible guy you are, she'll ask you to take her back because she blew through all the divorce money.

One of my buddies had this exact looking dependa as a neighbor way back in the black & white days of the world around 2009 or so. She had been busted cheating while her Active Duty husband was away, word had got to him while in Iraq 'surging', and afterwards she had even moved her little boyfriend (weirdly, he wasn't another soldier) into his house with their kids while he was still deployed. They were 'separated', but still married and she was still in DEERS, etc. so when he got killed downrange a couple months later my buddy got to watch the Casualty Notification team come by on a Saturday and notify her (and her boyfriend, standing next to her at the door) that her spouse had been KIA. Of course, she received all benefits, pay and other bennies that any spouse of an Active Duty casualty would expect. Every now and then I think about her, and earnestly hope that the diabetes has cost her a foot by now, or that her current relationship is abusively toxic.
