I know Wendy is all horned up for her young stud (which I don’t think he’s all that great looking nor do I see any redeeming qualities in him) but she should be a MOTHER first. I can only imagine those 2 girls who are entering or in the teens and developing not only in body but mind and with hormones and such it’s a rough age and the last thing these girls in puberty need to see if there mom trying to taste what their much older than them stepdad had for lunch right in front of them. Jakob Hanssen there’s a difference between a dad that likes to joke around and a stepdad who’s trying to embarrass his tween stepdaughter. Trying to get her to go into the water with a white shirt on, not stopping when she says “no”. My dad would pick us up and throw us into the water, but we were laughing and having fun. This girl is clearly being tormented by her mom’s boy toy into doing things she doesn’t want to do because he has authority over her. I’m sure your dad’s a nice guy and might seem similar to this guy, but some seemingly small differences are actually a big deal. And not saying this is your case, but most kids love their parents even if their parents are abusive or neglectful. Kids will hide signs of abuse so their parents don’t get in trouble. I work with foster kids, and they will explain away all kinds of terrible stuff. I would question the motives of a dad trying to make his daughter’s shirt see-through against her wishes.

What a contrast - At the end of the show we know all about Vanessa and Natalie, but nothing about the other kids because Wendy didn't significantly interact with them. She had nothing to even say about them. It was just her and her experience. She forgot to feed the family because she was so focused on having fun across the street. So many states still give a rubber stamp for the mother to get custody. In my state it takes about 10 enormous negative strikes against a mother to lose custody. It's easy for us to assume their father is a great guy and fought for the girls and does everything in their best interest but we don't know that for certain. It's possible he is married to his job and thinks providing tons of money is adequate. We just don't have that information.

The red headed lady BELIEVES she is the embodiment of sex and the city. I believe she truly believes that that is her essence. And it shows. Her boyfriend isn't a step father. He's their moms boyfriend. And he passes boundaries on all different levels. It truly puts out a LASTING message to those girls that will affect them for the rest of their lives in varying degrees. She describes her friends as the liberating gossiping "girl friend mafia". Just by the way he describes him and the way he talks about she wanted to slum it with him and run off and have a fun fling with her. The kids weren't included in this. He admitted that he shouldn't be expected to be a father. He speaks terribly to them. Calling them stupid in a way that isn't in a context of a dynamic that they have. He says DONT FOLLOW US. IM GOING UP WITH YOUR MOM. GET LOST. He says hopefully you don't have to deal with one of the girls too much. He's projecting how he feels. And those girls are fine. He made a point to say they're " not new, they're preowned" "they're not MY kids". Constant attacks. Constantly putting himself first. Bringing a developing girl who says if there's an extra shirt, she will go in. But completely invades her by forcing her in front of I don't even know how many cameras and I don't even know how many kids from her school are watching. She said shes made decisions in her life and she stands by it, in reference to her being in a relationship with a man who openly says don't expect me to be a father, I didn't care to have a romantic relationship with you, I was looking for a hook up with an older woman I wasn't necessarily attracted to. And her children suffer from her mother living out this " sex and the city" dream. She has the gossiping group of girls, her VERY young boyfriend who is mean to her babies and she cheated on their father with this young man. He's interested in her money and a free ride. He's interested in the scandal of it all and being able to be a child for as long as he can. And as a mother, I can't imagine being so selfish and thinking I'm so charismatic and smart and amazing and a gorgeous woman going through a middle aged crisis. I agree with her mothers point of view on this. I'm a Massachusetts girl through and through so maybe I understand the blue collar family better and appreciate them more.

@STOP.musick4 жыл бұрын
Unless I misunderstood, I think Wendy's first husband said Wendy and Michael started up together while Wendy and he were on a trip together. So the affair began not only while she was married, but on her and her first husband's' couple getaway. And yeah, you're not poor if you don't think $6,000 is enough money to fix up a room. Wendy should learn to stretch a dollar a little farther than that
@mamabear.97074 жыл бұрын
@@STOP.musick Yeah we all know she started the affair on that trip but she doesn't admit because she won't get all the alimony she wants. When a partner has an affair or there's some other unlawful reason the courts divorce them but generally don't allocate all, if much, alimony. She has an affair during their marriage, he shouldn't have to pay a dime more than what is absolutely necessary for care for the kids.

No idea about the divorce settlement but clearly she spent it if she feels desperate for money. Colorado is another state very generous with child support payments where the payments have nothing to do with actual cost of raising a child but purely on the ability of how much a parent can pay! Those kids are like lottery tickets! She banks a ton of that child support money for her own use. Since she actually married this young manchild means she wasn't receiving alimony because there is no way she would have given up such a payment so I assume they had a prenuptial which included her not getting all that company money.
