Well, at the bottom of the official website is some legal fine print disclosing all the copyrights and their respective trucks. One of the trucks listed was JCB Digatron. They also mentioned the JCB logo and how it belonged to JCB. The reason why it's "all but confirmed" is because they wouldn't need to list those copyrights if they weren't planning on featuring that truck in the game. But, we haven't actually seen any real footage of Digatron in the game yet, so there is still a bit of a question mark on it. That being said, my personal opinion has always been, and remains that Digatron will likely be part of a paid DLC, just because, as @Gemtacbotgameing3 said, it's a new truck and likely will have a lot of interest so they will want to charge a little extra for it.

I'm loving the damage model it looks like the body will not broke the same way everytime well at least here in the demo. But If you look at the Jurassic Attack photo from the scoring. It looks like the current 1 not the Classic that Spinmaster use. Also, it seems Game Stop at the moment has both DLC Packs for pre order only I hope the Digital versions has both too for pre order!

I definitely picked up that stiff, Monster Truck Championship vibe from the trucks landing, or even when interacting with the environment. I hope it's something they can tweak a bit. I don't want Beam level physics, but it needs to be better than what we've seen for sure.

You're talking about Monster Energy Supercross series that Milestone made? I agree, the physics do feel like that a bit. Unfortunately game devs seem to think that monster trucks behave like dirt bikes, but they most definitely do not!

Glad to see more independents getting attention! Most of these are kinda expected. Crushstation and Ice Cream Man still have toys through Spin Master. Kraken, Team Scream, Team Throttle Monster, and Shaker all still compete for MJ as well. Higher Education is kinda surprising though. Vaters Motorsports hasn't had anything to do with MJ since 2022, so I kinda expected something like Jester instead. Brutus was also really smart to use, as they can add Spike or Mega Bite later to keep the game fresh as they work on new content(hoping they do). Also, I kinda don't like the colored tires. It's been done in real life once, but it was Sudden Impact, an independent truck. And I doubt the real Sparkle Smash truck will run colored tires for the WF23 stunt. Nice work getting all the footage together! I didn't see the Switzerland livestream so it was cool to see some new footage!

Thanks for the props! I'm not sure exactly how all the licensing works, but it seems to be related to the Spin Master toy licenses. That was also the case with Steel Titans 2, they were able to include a bunch of trucks from Spin Master, including, I think, Higher Education. Still waiting on Jester, but the fact that Kraken is confirmed is a good sign. I'd LOVE to see Excalibur and Wrekreation from Tomfoolery in the game too.

Mohawk Warrior's Mohawk is accurate to the current Mohawk Warrior. Since Bryce's Mohawk is not as extreme as George's from back in the day. And since they're using today's trucks, they're gonna use Bryce's shorter Mohawk. This is why I think it's shorter and looks a little funny.

I've seen some chassis discussions online, and while I do think modeling accurate chassis (what's the plural for chassis?) is a good thing, I doubt that they're going to perform all that different from each other. I'm really not expecting beam level physics. But I'm with you! Totally stoked for the game!! :-)

I think Monster Truck Championship tried the sim-cade route. They were on the right track too, just needed some more funds to develop the game a bit more. For sure Showdown is meant for the broadest audience possible, which includes a lot of younger kids. There's a reason they got an 8 year old on with Kayla Blood. But hopefully there will be enough there to excite older audiences too.

I think for right now, we're somewhat limited as to what we can play on the Switch. Definitely Titans 2 over Titans 1. But Showdown is going to be a better game for sure once it comes out in August.

What are the destruction physics like on the fiberglass bodies on the truck? And will we be able to break wheels off like in Path of Destruction and Urban Assault?

Not sure about the wheels breaking but if I were to guess I'd say no, just because it's an arcade style racer and they don't want to disrupt the flow of the race having to stop and fix a tire. From what we've seen in the trailer footage the destruction physics of the bodies seem somewhat random based on how you crash, which is different from Steel Titans. It's hard to tell though because the clips have been so short.

I've not played PoD myself, but I have heard good things about it. I don't think the Steel Titans games were bad... but they definitely failed to live up to expectations. I'm hoping that Showdown has enough variety to make up for the shortcomings in the physics and lack of simulation. I disagree with you wholeheartedly about it looking like crap. I think it's going to be a lot of fun.
