It's very interesting because in the Kings Fall trailer the first thing Eris says "facing oryx was never the end". That makes me think that we kill oryx in the story and we face something crazy in the raid.

Seriously, the taken king and the upcoming patch is one of the best things that ever happened to Destiny, people who are critical on TTK and compare it to the last two DLC's are outright ignorant or completely stupid... People who quitted in vanilla Destiny because they didnt feel they were playing the game they were promised should really rejoice in TTK. This is a reason to come back to destiny for sure!

Interesting how the aesthetics of the hive ship are made to strongly resemble a ghost and how they lean heavily on that in these trailers. Perhaps im hoping for too much, but maybe this means they will eventually add at least part of the original storyline - where the Traveller is in fact the big bad - into the game at some point.... Also thumbs up if you agree Oryx just took the most satisfying dump in all existence at 1:42.

anyone else notice, that in the trailer, Mara Sov, queen of the Awoken, had that kind of Taken energy in her eyes, and then, the next time we see her, it isn't there. and, when she does have the Taken energy in her eyes, behind her, we see her 'servants' also using strands of the energy.
