Well this game is developed for Windows only. These are the hoops you got to go through to make it work on Mac lol but I am the Tech Manager for the game so the game files are safe!

Go to your InfiniteFusion folder, don't open it, just go to it. CONTROL + Click and there is an option that says Open Terminal in this Folder type in wine INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat This will open the updater and run it. Click Cancel on any pop ups for libraries it can't open but it will update it

hello, NEW PROBLEM, when I open the wrapper, press move folder inside, and try to move Infinite fusions inside, it says wineskin is currently busy please wait....... what do I do about that, do I just keep waiting or what?

This means your Mac is having a hard time moving the volume of files over. You have to recognize, this game has over 311k sprites alone... I would recommend if after waiting a long time and still no progress, to just use Wine. What you can do is: 1. Open the InfiniteFusion folder and right click Game.exe. 2. You can select Open With and select Wine Stable. 3. You will get a message saying that the files can't be verified with the Move to Trash or Cancel button. 4. Click Cancel. This will happen for 2-3 more files. Click Cancel each time. 5. The game will now open.

Can you try right clicking Game.exe and open with Wine Stable instead? Seems like your Mac might not be able to handle WineSkin properly but you can still open with Wine

This is because of your Mac having trouble moving the folder over. The folder is large, so it needs more time to move over. If it doesn't work, you can play without WineSkin. Right click Game.exe inside the game folder and select Open With and select Wine Stable and the game will open.

So sounds like you have an intel Mac. I think you misunderstood the instructions, just typing /usr/local/ doesn't do anything. In the doc I mention you need to replace /usr/local/ instead of using /opt/homebrew/ so for example in Step 2 you would paste in: Original Step 2 (don't use this): eval "$(/opt/homebrew/bin/brew shellenv)" What you would type in instead (use this instead): eval "$(/usr/local/bin/brew shellenv)"

This means you are installing the game on an Intel Mac which is very old. Anywhere you see the following in my instructions: /opt/homebrew You need to replace to: /usr/local

The cheats don't work the same way anymore since the new update. The only way to fix the error message is by reinstalling the game.

This is because the game folder itself is almost 3-4gb and has over 300k sprites in it. So your computer might be taking a while to move that many files over. If it doesn't work, you can try the minimal files here: github.com/infinitefusion/infinitefusion-e18/archive/refs/heads/releases.zip

So drive_c is a shortcut to a folder inside Contents. Idk why it didn't create the shortcut. you need to go to: Contents/SharedSupport/prefix/drive_c. Can you see if you find that path?

In the document, I have for the commands to install, I list what to do if they are already installed. This will uninstall Homebrew: /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/uninstall.sh)" If you get the message: Error: It seems there is already a Binary at '/opt/homebrew/bin/appdb'. Go here: /opt/homebrew/bin/ Delete everything except brew and rerun #5

Yeah if it is Wine telling you that directly, there isn't anything we can do to get around it. If you wanted to, you would install WineSkin in the (not recommended) way from their GitHub: github.com/Gcenx/WineskinServer They have instructions how to install without Wine but I am not sure if the reset of the tutorial will work. It is just a folder. You delete the folder. It isn't an app or anything so just delete the folder.

This is due to compatibility with your Mac, best way around this is to use Wine to play the game instead of WineSkin. You can open your game folder and right click Game.exe and select Open With -> Wine Stable. You will get some pop up warnings, but click cancel on them (should get around 3 warnings) and the game will open afterwards.

For people with older Macs and that need to install dependencies for WineSkin, it looks like that server is down right now. What you can do instead is play without WineSkin. You can right click Game.exe from your game folder and select Open With and Select Wine Stable. You will get warning messages about "Game.exe" cannot be opened because the dev is not verified. You can click Cancel on that and the other 2-3 warnings and it will open the game afterwards.

I helped you in discord I believe. But for others, the issue was using an M1 Mac on Monterey. They had to update their OS and it worked fine afterwards

I got to step 3, following along in the video, and quit terminal when you said to, then seeing 3.1. Upon reopening the terminal, I tried to continue with 3.1, and that is when it started saying it didn’t recognize the command. Should I have done step 3.1 directly after step 3 before quitting terminal, or should it still be able to do step 3.1 even after closing and reopening the terminal? Either way, I’ll try uninstalling and reinstalling homebrew and then do 3.1 before quitting the terminal, maybe that will work.

Yes you can! When you start a new game it will ask if you want the regular starters. If you select No, you can choose any Pokemon both Fused and Unfused you want

I am in Wineskin Winery and have installed the latest engine. The next step is to click “Create New Blank Wrapper”, but that button is not lit up and is unclickable for me. Any ideas? I notice that in the video, you do already have a Wrapper installed, and I don’t. I don’t know if this could be the issue or not.

No, this is the only screen to make wrappers in. You can make as many as you want, so me having one prior doesn't matter especially since I uninstalled everything before I made the video. I'm reading about this and it says it is only disabled when it isn't compatible or not available to do on your device. Since you have Wine installed, maybe play with just Wine. You can right click Game.exe and select Open With and Select Wine Stable. You will get a lot of warnings on the screen, click Cancel on each one, and it will open.

Well for whatever reason, when I didn’t have a wrapper installed, it wouldn’t let me click to create one, but when I installed the default wrapper (happened to be the same one you had), it allowed me to click ahead and create one just fine. I’ve been playing for a few hours now and everything appears to be working fine, so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t let me create a wrapper until I had installed one, but doing that seemed to work.

1. Right-click -> "Show Package Contents" 2. Navigate to "Contents -> Resources" 3. Drag the icon file you downloaded into the "Resources" folder. 4. When prompted, choose to "Replace Wineskin.icns" The icon might not change immediately, but if you drag the game file around a bit, it should show up

On Mac, the save files are stored depending on how you installed it. If you had it installed through WineSkin previously as well, this video shows you how to find it as long as you didn't delete your prior app.

This is because the InfiniteFusion folder is large. You have to give it some time depending on your Mac model (how old it is). If it is "stuck" here, you can try right clicking Game.exe instead from your folder and open with Wine Stable. It should open the game as well.

Editing a text file is crashing your computer? That doesn't make sense. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2O4h6Z-ftykrc0 This part of the file shows you how to get to the game files. Once you see your game files in WineSkin, you can edit them. - GO HERE: \Data\Scripts\999_Main - You need to open the file with notepad. On line 138 you will see def mainFunctionDebug begin showLoadingScreen - Add $DEBUG = true above showLoadingScreen.

Just a note, this game is developed and optimized for Windows. Older Macs like your 2016 might struggle running the game, but the optimize version of the game is opening it through Game-preloaded.exe instead of Game.exe. Also make sure to turn off Download Sprites from in game settings. That is the most optimized settings we have for the game.

That depends solely on your computer. The game folder is 3gb with hundred thousands of sprites. This will take long if your Mac is older/can't handle that many files

then you need to uninstall homebrew and try again. This is an issue with your mac not able to find homebrew. The guide I provided gives it 3 additional ways to find homebrew so not sure how else to troubleshoot.

Create a save file in pallet town. Start a new game. The randomizer options will appear You can also add randomizer to any save file going to a Pokemon Center and talking to Update Man.

Pokemon Reborn and Xenoverse looks pretty good to me! They aren't ROMs but they can be installed on Mac. If you want a ROM, Radical Red is always good
