Regarding the "bug on steamdeck that q4wine doesn't run". It happens specifically for people that moved the game files out of Downloads and want to update. Q4Wine will fail to run since it doesn't have permissions to do anything outside of the Downloads folder. You can install flatseal to fix this: 1. Install flatseal from Discover 2. Run flatseal 3. Find Q4Wine in the list of flatpaks on the left 4. Scroll down to the "Filesystem" section and do either: a. Enable "All user files" permission b. Click the add folder icon and copy/type in the location of your pokemon infinite fusion directory

The game is still under development. Next update 6.3 will add many new pokemon. Not ETA on the date

Yeah the updater in your OLD files broke. The only fix is to redownload again or update the installer in your files with the new one. I honestly recommend resetting up the new files as a new non steam game. BUT MAKE SURE to not remove your current game from steam or it will delete your save. So after setting up the new files, make sure to transfer your save to the new save file location.

Ok i solved It downloading the new version From discord with Just the installer. Deleted the Data folder, used the installer.bat and Just Launched From steam. No new no steam game needed.

FIXED below When I open the game, it is too big on the screen and the borders go beyond the edges. Any idea what I did wrong? I have the newest Proton. Great video btw!! Thanks so much. Edit: for anyone with this issue: just had to change screen size to "full" in the in-game options menu.

These files already contain all the sprites. Sprite server is down so no new sprite updates for a while, but if it does, just turn on download sprites from in game settings

Normally, they download over the internet. The sprite server is currently down until verison 6.3 is released. The current download already contains ALL sprites so you don't need to worry about sprites

I’m having the same issue as some others in the comment section. When trying to update the game from 6.1.2 to 6.2.4, I am able to successfully run the update in Wine but my game will crash after a few seconds on launch. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading game folders 2x. Any other recommendations?

It is a bug in the update, the resolution is to Delete the Data folder in your game folder and reupdate. This fixes the issue (this doesn't delete your save)

Hi, I did everything you said in the video and was able to run the game, until I choose my first starter in Remix mode. The games crashes as soon as I do my first battle with the rival, saying there is 4 arguments on « script error in event 21 (coords 12,14), map 552 (Oak’s Lab _Hoenn) I don’t know if it is because of Remix mode or not… Thanks!

When choosing a custom pokemon/starter, when asked if you want to Skip Intro select Yes and it will fix the crash. This is a bug we are aware of and going to fix in the future.

Delete the game files and extract again. Some Steam Decks have a bug where the extraction isn't complete. Set it up again after that

I had the same issue. I deleted and extracted again. When extracting it seemed to have created “infinite fusion” with “infinitefusion” as a sub folder. I moved the “infinitefusion” out to be the main folder and it seems to work. I’m not technically inclined so hope that made sense.

So I've gotten the game to run on my Steam Deck, but right after the point where your rival fuses the two starters together and I try to walk to the left (away from the table), the game crashes. Any ideas?

if you are using custom starters, you need to select YES when asked to skip intro to make it not crash

Try deleting the game folder and extracting again. There is a SteamOS bug that has an issue extracting the large zip and causes this issue

Thank you for guide and my Android version work properly instead showing error. And for pc repack version that one to,my game just wont work and my download keep failing using installer and it blame my internet bruh..... Found this channel by chance searching guide because i keep getting issue with install version. That Repack file heck you even add newest sprite pack thanks for that. Finally after 2 years i can graduate from version 5+ since this the only version wrok properly for me for past 2 year version 6give me so much issue including error....

The same file here for Steam Deck work on PC. You can just download the zip, extract it, open Game.exe on PC and you are good to go. You don't need to rerun the updater since the files I provide are always up to date.

The video description has the game already updated, or you can use the end of the video that shows how to update your game. if you replace the files above instead of updating, just dont remove the game from the steam library or that deletes your save

Sounds like you selected a custom starter. If you did, when asked to SKIP INTRO select YES. There is a bug right now for this

Same files for Windows work for Steam Deck. You are going to get sprite issues since the dev didn't include all the sprites.

I followed your steps to update and add sprites, but unable to get game to launch now on 6.2.3. Uninstalling helped initially but as soon as the updater runs again the game.exe won't run again even on the newest Proton 9.11. Save file also doesn't transfer after your steps.

This latest update has an issue updating where you need to Delete the Data folder in your game folder and do the steps to update again for it to work. It is a bug with 6.2

Whenever I try to add the Game.exe file to steam, it adds a blank uncategorized section instead of showing “Game.exe”. Any advice on troubleshooting?

Are you sure it isn't adding it? By default the game is not categorized so that doesn't seem like an issue, but you should see Game.exe on your library list.

The link I provided is the most up to date. It has the latest game version and sprites and that was 10 days ago, so you saying it wasn't fully updated doesn't make sense.
